  • Patent number: 4114623
Abstract: A device and system for the cutting and/or coagulation of human tissue with the use of high frequency currents. This invention is used to cut materials similar to the human tissue which can emit steam or gassy products when sufficiently heated. It controls the extent of the arc generated during the cutting operation, and controls the heat generated during the coagulating operation, both of these for the purpose of minimizing formation of harmful forms of albumen.

  • Patent number: 4095228
Abstract: An automotive vehicle has a window and a vehicle body. A window heater includes an arrangement of heating conductor sections provided on the window. A radio receiving antenna is located in the vicinity of the heating conductor sections. The heating conductor sections are comprised of at least two heating conductor sections together forming a bifilar conductor section group. The two heating conductor sections of each bifilar conductor section group are arranged approximately parallel and closely spaced to each other. The heating conductor sections are so interconnected that the heating current flowing through one of the sections of each group also flows through the other section of the group but in the opposite direction.

  • Patent number: 4070677
Abstract: A vehicle window heater includes an arrangement of heating conductors provided on the window. A radio receiving antenna is located in the vicinity of the heating conductors. An interference-suppressing arrangement decreases the effect upon the antenna of interference fields emanating from the heating conductors and includes an arrangement of auxiliary conductors located in the vicinity of the heating conductors. The auxiliary conductors along their lengths are insulated from the heating conductors. Each auxiliary conductor at at least one of its ends is conductively connected to the vehicle body for high-frequency condition.

  • Patent number: 3942119
Abstract: An antenna has two output terminals and is operative for receiving electromagnetic radiation and converting the same into electrical signals appearing across the two antenna output terminals. There are provided a first and a second transmission channel, each having a respective input comprised of a pair of input terminals, and respectively operative for transmitting electrical signals having frequencies lying in a predetermined first frequency range and in a predetermined higher second frequency range, one of the input terminals of the first channel being connected to one of the two antenna output terminals. A transformer includes a primary winding connecting the other of the input terminals of the first channel to the other of the two antenna output terminals. The transformer further includes a secondary winding connected across the two input terminals of the second transmission channel.
