  • Patent number: 11775911
Abstract: A method provides predictions of key performance indicators of a product variant of a product family manufactured by a complex manufacturing system in a manufacturing process. The method provides a manufacturing operation model for each manufacturing operation type used to manufacture a product variant of the product family. Via the complex manufacturing system measured contributions to key performance indicators, process context data and process execution data of manufacturing operations, are provided. The model parameters of the provided manufacturing operation models are learned automatically based on collected process context data, collected process execution data, and measured contributions to key performance indicators, to update the manufacturing operation models.

  • Patent number: 11060933
Abstract: In a method for determining loading of a bearing supporting a rotor of an electrical machine, the rotational speed and angular acceleration of the rotor is determined, matrix elements of a matrix are assigned to respective ranges of the angular acceleration and to respective ranges of the rotational speed, when the electrical machine is operated in a respective range of the angular acceleration and the rotational speed corresponding to the respective matrix element for a predefined time unit, an elementary variable, for example a value of 1, is added to the respective matrix element, and the loading of the bearing is determined as a weighted sum of the matrix elements. Thus, the matrix forms a representation of the operating time of the bearing and of the service life over time in relation to the rotational speeds and angular accelerations. The loading can be shown on a display.

  • Patent number: 9400229
Abstract: A method and an apparatus are disclosed for monitoring the state of a roller bearing. The apparatus includes a vibration sensor, configured to detect vibrations which occur during operation of the bearing, and to generate a first signal as a function of the detected vibrations. A diagnosis electronics system is configured to output an item of information about a state of the bearing on the basis of the first signal and at least one limit value stored in the diagnosis electronics system. A sound emission sensor is provided, configured to pick up noises, produced in the event of plastic deformation of the bearing at least in regions. A second signal is then transmitted to the diagnosis electronics system, taking into account the picked-up noises.

  • Publication number: 20150247529
Abstract: A bearing, supporting a movable component in relation to a stationary component, and a detection device are included in a bearing arrangement. The bearing arrangement also includes at least two temperature sensors for respective detection of temperature. The detection device detects a load zone of the bearing, formed by an area of the bearing in which, during a movement of the movable component, a higher mechanical loading occurs in the bearing compared to an adjacent area. The detection device determines the load zone of the bearing by using the detected temperatures.
