  • Patent number: 9111452
Abstract: A vehicle is equipped with at least one environment detection system, a communication system which transmits information by remote transmission to receivers external to the vehicle, and at least one electronic control unit for both systems. The electronic control unit is designed to realize a standby mode which can be activated automatically or manually. The control device is configured such that when the vehicle is parked and the standby mode is activated, both the environment detection system and the communication system can be switched-on at least to a limited extent to predefined functions in regard to the transmission of information to receivers external to the vehicle.

  • Patent number: 5911771
Abstract: In the case of a gear shift control for automatic transmissions in motor vehicles having an electronic control unit which determines the gear change as a function of operating parameters of the vehicle, the electronic control unit controls the gear changes also as a function of input signals which are obtained from information generated outside the vehicle and which indicate environmental conditions of the vehicle.

  • Patent number: 3992046
Abstract: A safety installation for vehicles, particularly motor vehicles which cooperates with a seat that is relatively movable with respect to the vehicle body; the safety installation thereby displaces the seat during an impact accident by means of an actuating mechanism in such a manner that the seat deceleration rises rapidly within the limit of the human tolerance range and is then held at an essentially constant level within this limit.
