  • Publication number: 20200378071
Abstract: A drainage block for dikes or urban settings and for use as a road pavement is provided with drainage and water buffering properties. The drainage blocks may be used in urban areas as pavement, or fundament or substructure underneath a street layer with porous/water passing pavement stones or clinkers with drainage and water buffering properties. The drainage blocks comprise four lateral faces, a base, and a single stem connecting the slab and the base, which stem has a cross-sectional area that is smaller than the cross-sectional areas of the slab and the base, thereby forming a water buffering space between the slab and the base; and wherein each of the four lateral faces of the slab comprises a single spacing projection.

  • Publication number: 20180087230
Abstract: A damping element (6) comprises, adjoining one another in the longitudinal direction (7), a head part (3), neck part (4) and foot part (5) of concrete. The cross section of the neck part transversely to the longitudinal direction (7) is smaller than the cross section of the head part transversely to the longitudinal direction and is smaller than the cross section of the foot part transversely to the longitudinal direction, such that a system of channels (8) is formed. The foot part (5) has, over at least a portion of the periphery (18) thereof, a recess (15) directed transversely to the longitudinal direction. Together with the grit particles (16) accommodated therein, these grooves (15) provide a stabilizing effect.

  • Publication number: 20160160462
Abstract: A water-control structure includes a control structure body (1) having at least one side (10, 11) which is exposed to the influence of a body of water (12) and adjacent cladding elements (3) which cover the control structure body (1) and which each include a base (6). The cladding elements (3) each have a free projection (7) which is upright with respect to the base (6) and are covered with a soil layer (5) which is provided between and above the projections (7).

  • Patent number: 9115490
Abstract: Attenuating element consisting of a head part, neck part and base part. The neck part is narrower compared to the head part and neck parts of adjacent attenuating elements form a continuous channel. Via the head parts, this channel is connected so that the cross-sectional area of the head parts is smaller than the cross-sectional area of the base parts. In this way, a water-control structure, sound-attenuating wall and the like can be provided. Such attenuating elements can be produced in a very simple manner by dividing them vertically and producing each of the vertical parts from concrete in a mould.
