  • Patent number: 8624510
Abstract: A control circuit (1) for light emitting diode arrangements (11), used particularly for backlighting LC flat screens. The circuit has a plurality of control channels (5, 5?) in each of which one or more light emitting diode arrangements (11) are disposed. The circuit has a balancing device (23) which allows currents in the individual control channels (5, 5?) to be balanced. Each control channel (5, 5?) has a separate dimming device (13) through which a brightness of the light emitting diode arrangements (11) in this control channel (5, 5?) can be changed separately from the other control channels (5, 5?). For this purpose, the control circuit has a compensation device (16) which allows a flow of current in the individual control channels (5, 5?) to be balanced when the light emitting diodes have different brightnesses.

  • Patent number: 8525429
Abstract: A method and a device for controlling gas discharge lamps using a direct current/alternating current inverter (DC/AC inverter) that is operated at a predetermined frequency and that generates an AC output voltage U for operating the gas discharge lamps from a DC input voltage which has a residual ripple. The DC/AC inverter is operated in zero voltage switching (ZVS) mode, wherein the DC input voltage is used as the control variable for the lamp current IL, wherein fluctuations in the lamp current IL caused by the residual ripple of the DC input voltage are compensated by a variation in the switch-on times and/or switch-off times of the switching elements QH, QL of the DC/AC inverter.

  • Publication number: 20100259483
Abstract: The disclosure relates to a display and operator control system in a motor vehicle, including a display panel and an operator control panel with operator control keys and function keys. The display panel is electronically coupled to the operator control panel and has roughly the same outer shape as the operator control panel. Representations of the control and function keys are displayed on the display panel in the same relative positions as the control and function keys are located on the operator control panel. Data input on the keypad of the control panel is displayed on an input panel on the display panel. The operator control panel also has an keypad for inputting of data, the data being shown in an input panel on the display panel. This provides intuitive operator control for the user.

  • Publication number: 20050029716
Abstract: The invention relates to a device for treating wire material, comprising at least one station consisting of two disc-shaped substrates. The surfaces of said substrates face each other and overlap, clamping the wire material with a changing surface condition. The substrate surfaces (C1, C2) overlap except for at least one visual inspection zone (K), which remains exposed for viewing on at least one substrate surface (C1) and likewise makes contact with the wire material (D). The surface condition of said zone is essentially the same as the wire contact area (F) of the overlapped remainder of said substrate surface (C1).

  • Publication number: 20040144564
Abstract: A multi-layer circuit board has blind holes, which are coated with a metal layer and with a conducting finish protection. The blind hole is first drilled as a through-hole through a pre-fitted sub-set of circuit board layers and coated before the remaining layers of the board are fitted together by thermo-compression. An outer layer buries the hole during further processing steps and is only opened after such further processing steps are finished. The metal coating does thus not extend to the surface but only through the sub-set of circuit board layers. The blind-hole thus created is suitable for inserting press-fit connectors.

  • Publication number: 20030002263
Abstract: In a method for the production of multilayer High Density Interconnect (HDI) circuit boards, orientation points for the individual layers are arranged on an assembly frame outside the actual circuit board and a further orientation point is arranged on the actual circuit board as an origin for all layers.
