Patent number: 8196743Abstract: A needle-holding device (1) suitable in particular as a package comprises a flat needle carrier section (4) and an adjoining section that has a clamping lip (5) that is resiliently biased against the needle carrier section (4). The clamping lip (5) reaches around the stitch-forming sections of the needles (2) which are held lying next to each in contact with each other on the needle carrier section (4). The resiliently yielding clamping lip (5) permits the insertion and the pull-out of one, several or of all the needles (2).Type: GrantFiled: November 6, 2007Date of Patent: June 12, 2012Assignee: Groz-Beckert KGInventors: Uwe Stingel, Johannes Bruske, Hans-Joachim Halamoda

Patent number: 8191452Abstract: A punching tool for green sheets or similar sheet-like work-pieces having a support plate with punched holes (7), and a holding-down plate disposed above the support plate and containing stripper openings (24). Operative portions (23) of dies (8) extend through the stripper openings (24) and are guided therein. The operative portions (23) are formed in graduated form with a punching portion (26) of reduced diameter. Each punching portion (26) has a length that is less than the length of the stripper opening (24), and is located entirely in the stripper opening (24) when the die (8) is at its top dead center. A part (25) of the operative portion (23) protrudes into the stripper opening (24) to guide the die (8). The punching portion (26) is only approximately as long as required for the punching stroke of the die (8). The slight length of the punching portion (26) makes possible an especially slender punching portion, and thus the creation of especially small punched holes.Type: GrantFiled: January 9, 2004Date of Patent: June 5, 2012Assignee: Groz-Beckert KGInventors: Hans Joachim Halamoda, Siegfried Beerhalter

Patent number: 8038005Abstract: A felting needle package (1) in accordance with the invention consists of a case having the shape of a parallelepiped, said case's interior space being divided by a dividing wall (11), said wall extending diagonally with respect to the lateral walls but extending at a right angle with respect to the bottom (10). The dividing wall (11) may have one or more interruptions such as, for example openings for grasping. Additional dividing walls may be provided. In plan view, the dividing walls divide wedge-shaped, i.e., prism-shaped, partial spaces in the package, said partial spaces being disposed to accommodate felting needle bundles that are also wedge-shaped.Type: GrantFiled: May 20, 2009Date of Patent: October 18, 2011Assignee: Groz-Beckert KGInventors: Johannes Bruske, Hans Häussler, Stefan Drope, Hans-Joachim Halamoda

Patent number: 7578224Abstract: The punching die of the invention has a head 22 held by positive engagement. The head 22 is held on the shaft 21 of the die 8 in that by means of plastic deformation, for instance by radial application of pressure, material is positively displaced radially inward, so that a protrusion 28 is embodied which rests over a large area on the wall of a recess 23. A more secure, more durable force transition is assured.Type: GrantFiled: June 9, 2005Date of Patent: August 25, 2009Assignee: Groz-Beckert KGInventors: Hans-Joachim Halamoda, Siegfried Beerhalter

Publication number: 20070227217Abstract: A device for the manufacture of perforated films or foils comprises a means (5) for the perforation of the film or foil (2), as well as a means (19) for crimping the edges of the thusly produced holes. By crimping the edges, the holes are fixed after having been opened. Punching tools for cutting the perforation out of the film or foil are not required. Rather, the desired hole is first created as a puncture, or as a cut, and is then widened. During the crimping operation, the material bent out of the plane of the film or foil is fixed in place in such a manner that it will not close the pierced hole again.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 27, 2007Publication date: October 4, 2007Applicant: Groz-Beckert KGInventor: Hans-Joachim Halamoda

Patent number: 7121178Abstract: An improved punching tool (1) has a lower tool (3), which is subdivided into a lower tool base plate (7) and a lower-tool operative part (8). The lower tool base plate (7) has a receiving face, with which uniform base areas of a plurality of lower-tool operative parts (8) are associated. The dividing place between the lower-tool operative part (8) and the lower tool base plate (9) is disposed such that all the workpiece-specific designs are present exclusively on the lower-tool operative part (8), while the lower tool base plate (7) is the same, without change, for all workpieces to be machined.Type: GrantFiled: January 9, 2004Date of Patent: October 17, 2006Assignee: Groz-Beckert KGInventors: Hans Joachim Halamoda, Siegfried Beerhalter, Ernst Heinemann

Patent number: 5076074Abstract: A knitting tool, such as a selector sinker or a needle for a knitting machine, includes a flat shank and a narrow elongate control spring projecting from a slot-like opening in a narrow side of the shank. One end of the control spring has a broader anchorage section at one end which is inserted into a recess provided at an inward end of the opening in the shank. The width of the recess, measured transversely to the longitudinal extent of the opening, is greater, at least at certain locations, than the width of the opening. The thickness of the anchorage section of the control spring is less than or equal to the depth of the recess. As a result, the control spring is rigidly anchored in the shank in a manner secure against rotation.Type: GrantFiled: May 14, 1990Date of Patent: December 31, 1991Assignee: Theodor Groz & Sohne & Ernst Beckert Nadelfabrik Commandit-GesellschaftInventors: Hans-Joachim Halamoda, Albert Teufel
