  • Patent number: 4932798
Abstract: The invention is directed to an apparatus for recording image information on both sides of recording sheets which, lying against a partial circumference of a print roller are conducted past an image recording unit. A format of the inventive apparatus which is particularly simple in structural terms is achieved in that a sheet seating surface approaches the underside of the print roller upon formation of a sheet draw-in gap which lies preceding the image recording unit as seen in the rotational sense of the print roller and in that a sheet guidance surface forming a sheet acceptance gap together with the print roller and following the image recording unit as seen in the rotational sense of the print roller is arranged across the print roller and approaches the sheet seating surface at an acute angle.

  • Patent number: 4552072
Abstract: A destination adjustment installation for positioning destination identification which is movable on a receptable in a path direction of parallel guidance strips by the use of an actuating element. The actuating element is designed as a stationary limit stop and the shifting movement of the destination identifications is obtained from the passage of the receptacles past the destination adjustment installation whereas the actuating element engages in the shift region from the time of its contact with the destination identification until the output of a control command after further drive of the receptable by a distance corresponding to the distance of the destination position from the initial position. The invention can be employed in particular for shifting identifications of electrically driven conveyor vehicles running on profile rails for the purpose of transporting files.

  • Patent number: 4516888
Abstract: A pneumatic dispatch system having a plurality of forwarding tube paths and an arrangement for transferring a dispatch case between two paths including a pair of pneumatic post stations interconnected by a single tube line characterized by each of the pneumatic post stations having a first tube chamber connected to a second tube chamber which extends parallel thereto and forms a reception chamber. The two tube chambers move within a housing of the station between a first position with the first chamber aligned with the tube sections forming the forwarding tube path and the second reception chamber being in alignment with the connecting tube to a second position with the second chamber being in a position to catch and retain a dispatch case traveling in the path.

  • Patent number: 4459069
Abstract: In an exemplary embodiment, a slide selectively closes the upper end of the connecting tube. The dispatch tube and the receiving opening are offset relative to one another in such manner that, at the moment a pneumatic traveler is transferred out of the receiving opening, a mechanical restraining device of the dispatch tube is not yet actuated. The pneumatic dispatch station can be employed as a dispatch station with a dispatch ready position for an outgoing pneumatic traveler, as a receiving station and as a transit station with the use of only a single connecting tube movable to three positions therein. The three positions may be separated by less than two diameters of the tube.
