  • Patent number: 5880363
Abstract: A process for checking the air pressure in the tires of motor vehicle wheels wherein at least a pressure signal characteristic for the air pressure will be picked up as a measured signal by a measurement device located in or on the tire of each motor vehicle wheel, wherein at least.

  • Patent number: 4658884
Abstract: A tubular mold is included in a coolant container there being a tubular guide sheet arranged around the mold at a certain distance therefrom, the coolant flows through the gap between the mold and the guide sheet; as specific improvement the upper portion of the mold has grooves cut into the outside to be flown though by water offering therefore a relatively enlarged cooling surface as compared with the remainder of the configuration of the mold underneath, the guide sheet has a radially inward extension such that water is forced into and through the grooves; these grooves are provided in the area in which the liquid bath level is expected to occur in the mold.

  • Patent number: 4056801
Abstract: Apparatus for locating sources of sound in water, including a hydrophone system which is suspended from a buoy after being dropped into the water and whose one given reference axis is automatically aligned with the magnetic field of the earth by mechanically coupling the hydrophone system with a compass magnet (north reference). The hydrophones of the hydrophone system are electrically connected with a switching or control box by means of transmission wires which are insulated with an elastic plastic and pass freely through the water and the hydrophone system is mechanically fastened to the switching box to be rotatable in a recoilless manner about an axis which is perpendicular to the surface of the earth. The control box is in turn connected to the buoy by means of an elastic suspending cable and an electrical connecting cable.
