  • Patent number: 6228568
Abstract: The present invention relates to a color photographic recording material which contains, in at least one layer between the substrate and light-sensitive emulsion layer situated nearest to the substrate, a compound of formula (I) wherein X and Y, independently of each other in each case, represent an electron-attracting group, and X and Y together can form a group which is necessary for the completion of a 5- or 6-membered ring.

  • Patent number: 5200305
Abstract: A color photographic material containing color couplers which yield heat-stable dyes.A color photographic recording material containing cyan couplers which, during chromogenic development, yield cyan dyes having parameters a and b such thata.(1+b).ltoreq.1.5are suitable for the production of color negatives for multicopy operation in which a plurality of identical copies are successively prepared from the same original. In the above condition:a is the temperature coefficient of the absorption ##EQU1## and b is the temperature coefficient of the absorption wavelength .lambda..sub.(T=23.degree. • Patent number: 5035987
Abstract: Where DIR couplers corresponding to formula I are used in color photographic silver halide materials, good edge effects and interimage effects are obtained. ##STR1## In formula (I), A represents halogen, --OR, --SR, --CN, --COR, --CONHR, --COOR, --SO.sub.2 R, --SO.sub.2 NHR, ##STR2## R represents alkyl, aralkyl, aryl or hetaryl; Q represents a substituent for compelting a 5- or 6-membered heterocyclic ring;D and E, which may be the same or different, represent substituents attached to the C atom of the C.dbd.N group by a C, O, S or N atom, including those substituents which, together with the C atom of the C.dbd.N group, complete a carbocyclic or heterocyclic ring;Y represents a group having a silver halide development inhibiting function which is releasable during color development.

  • Patent number: 4835094
Abstract: Color photographic images having advantageous sensitometric properties, in particular high maximum magenta color density, can be obtained by use of a color photographic recording material containing a pyrazoloazole type magenta coupler of formula IQ--L--COOH IIn the formulaQ denotes the bicyclic group capable of color coupling in a pyrazolo[3,2-c]-1,2,4-triazole magenta coupler andL denotes a linking member which is not split off in the color coupling reaction and which cointains a ballast residue unless a ballast residue which cannot be split off is attached to the non-coupling ring of the bicyclic group Q.

  • Patent number: 4543308
Abstract: For electronic image recording in one or more colors a photographic recording material comprising in at least one layer photo-sensitive silver halide and a compound capable of luminescence is image-wise exposed and developed to produce a latent luminescence image. The image information contained in the latent luminescence image is scanned photoselectively by a luminescence spectroscopic process and is recoded electronically in the form of monochromatic luminescence signals. The process provides images in one or more colors and is highly sensitive. Recording materials of extremely low silver application can be used.

  • Patent number: 4460274
Abstract: The invention relates to a process for luminescence-spectroscopic examination and determination of coatings and coating profiles of solid and liquid layers and layer assembles whereby the luminescent substances present in the layers are photoselectively probed and determined through emission product spectra in incident and/or transmitted light by a photon detector using an emission spectroscopic process and whereby the photoselectivity of the luminescence-spectroscopic process being based on the substance related choice of the difference in wavelength .DELTA. .lambda. between the emission wavelength .lambda..sub.e and the excitation wavelength .lambda..sub.a.
