Abstract: A vertically adjustable pedestal trestle for theater stages or the like which includes a platform carried by a top frame and lockable supporting scissors are articulated to corners of the top frame as well as a vertical adjustment device which may be driven by motor power or manually. The vertical adjustment device includes one or more additional lifting scissors arranged centrally below the platform. The lifting scissors are provided at respective leg ends with runners or sliding elements and are adapted to be extended toward the underside of the platform.
