Abstract: Disclosed is a flexible multilayer flat material which contains at least one wear layer and/or cover layer having at least one flat reinforcement material located in it. In particular, the invention concerns a flexible multilayer flat material comprising at least one cover layer, with at least one flat reinforcement material, preferably a nonwoven material, embedded in the cover layer. On one hand, the reinforcement material provides the multilayer flat material with improved mechanical properties, such as tensile strength and/or resilience, and, on the other hand, the reinforcement material simultaneously allows the decoration of such flat materials in its function as a printable image carrier.
