Abstract: A process for preparing a detergent tablet having two or more regions comprises the steps of: (a) compressing a particulate composition comprising a detergent active component to form a compressed region of the tablet having a recess; (b) delivering to the recess a solution or melt comprising a mixture of at least one detergent active component and a fusible carrier material; and (c) solidifying the solution or melt.

Abstract: A method for providing multi-phase cleaning and washing agent shaped bodies is provided. A particulate premix ix compressed to form a shaped body containing a cavity and the cavity is filled with a molten suspension or emulsion of a matrix material with a melting point above 30% and at least one active material dispersed or suspended in the matrix material.

Abstract: Shaped bodies containing builders, alkali sources, bleaching agents, enzymes and surfactants. Particularly high-performance detersive shaped bodies with high stability in storage, a good perfume profile and a defined solubility profile are obtained if more than 80% by weight of the total content of an active substance (1) containing a constituent from the group of soil-release compounds is present in a region which makes up no more than 40% by volume of the shaped body.

Abstract: Bull's-eye tablets in which both the shaped body per se and the lands surrounding the bull's-eye are mechanically stable and even lend themselves to production in modern high-throughput tablet presses and in which the core placed in the larger shaped body is joined to the tablet in a stable manner and does not separate from the tablet matrix during production, packaging, transportation and handling can be obtained if the contour line of the core falls from the edge zone to the lowest point and climbs back to the edge zone.

Abstract: A storable, substantially water-free flowable surfactant mixture containing 40% by weight to 70% by weight of a nonionic surfactant of the formula R.sup.1 --(OC.sub.2 H.sub.4).sub.n --OH wherein R.sup.1 is an alkyl or alkenyl group containing 10 to 20 carbon atoms and an average degree of ethoxylation n of from 1 to 8; 20% by weight to 50% by weight of a nonionic surfactant, liquid at room temperature, of the formula: R.sup.2 --(OC.sub.2 H.sub.4).sub.r --(OC.sub.3 H.sub.6).sub.p --OH wherein R.sup.2 is an alkyl or alkenyl group containing 10 to 20 carbon atoms, an average degree of ethoxylation r of from 2 to 8 and an average degree of propoxylation p of from 1 to 6; and 1% by weight to 10% by weight of a C.sub.10 to C.sub.22 carboxylic acid and/or alkali metal salts thereof. The flowable surfactant mixture provides a base for forming a pseudo-plastic detergent formulation.

Abstract: A substantially non-aqueous, free-flowing, storable liquid washing or cleaning formulation comprising:A) from more than 20 to less than 78% by weight of at least one nonionic surfactant;B) from 0.1 to 25% by weight of at least one anionic surfactant;C) from 1 to less than 20% by weight of at least one water-soluble builder; andD) from more than 20 to 35% by weight of at least one bleaching agent.

Abstract: A process for the continuous production of a granular detergent composition comprising:(a) pregranulating at least 40% by weight of a mixture of solid and liquid detergent components, based on the total weight of the solid and liquid cleaning components, in a first low-speed mixer/granulator having mixing tools contained therein, to form a pregranulated detergent mixture; and(b) granulating the pregranulated detergent mixture in a second high-speed mixer/granulator to form a final granular detergent composition.

Abstract: A process for producing a paste-form, substantially water-free detergent by heating a mixture of nonionic and anionic surfactants to a predetermined temperature, adding soap in particulate form to the heated mixture, then cooling the mixture, and adding builder components and a bleaching agent to the mixture.

Abstract: The production of paste-form, bleach-containing and substantially water-free detergents or cleaning preparations was to be improved by the direct use of hydrated zeolite. This was essentially done by impregnating the zeolite with 3 times to 10 times the quantity, based on its weight, of an organic polar deactivating agent which is liquid at room temperature and normal pressure and which has a dielectric constant at 20.degree. C. of at least 2.3 C.sup.2.

Abstract: A manufactured stannous sulfate granulate is suitable for electrolytically coloring anodized aluminum with metallic salts, where the granulate particles have a linear extension from 0.1 to 10 mm. Also disclosed are a process for manufacturing the same and using it for electrolytically coloring anodized aluminum with metallic salts. The manufactured stannous sulfate granulate is characterized by technical advantages, such as storage stability, easy dispensibility, and absence of dust, compared to conventionally used stannous sulfate powders.
