  • Patent number: 7345259
Abstract: The invention relates to a method and a circuit arrangement for preventing overheating of a cooking appliance. The arrangement includes a power circuit with a heating element and a control circuit with a coupling switch. The control circuit and the power circuit are coupled by the coupling switch. The arrangement further includes a safety switch to the control circuit. The coupling switch interrupts a power supply to the power circuit to the heating element when a limiting temperature in the cooking appliance is exceeded.

  • Patent number: 7343767
Abstract: A roller tool is used within a sheet deformation facility for the linear deformation of sheet metal. The roller tool comprises a press roller having a shaft and a roller body rolling around the same as well as a counterbody. The press roller and the counterbody can be jointly moved in a linear manner relative to a sheet positioned between them that is to be processed for performing the sheet metal deformation. The roller body has a plurality of roller discs which are adjacent to each other, which together form the section of the roller body that can be placed onto the sheet to be processed and which can rotate around the shaft independently of each other. The sheet deformation facility is furthermore provided with a roller tool support and a drive for pivoting the roller tool support around an axis perpendicular to the sheet that is to be processed.

  • Patent number: 5152646
Abstract: A method for the production of an internal slide surface on a guide sleeve of plastic material for a length-adjustable chair column consists in that the internal surface of the guide sleeve is provided with surfaces, which are undersize in proportion to a to-be-guided housing of a gas spring. Recesses are located between the individual surfaces and are oversize in proportion to the housing of the gas spring to be guided. Partial cylinder surfaces are broached in the surfaces between the recesses by broaching and in common they represent a slide surface. These measures ensure impeccable broaching with high surface quality and dimensional precision of the slide surface. Moreover, the remaining recesses, which may have the form of grooves of arbitrary cross-section, can be used as storage chambers for a lubricant.
