  • Patent number: 6131520
Abstract: A rail vehicle having at least one superstructure which can be inclined by an angle of inclination (.alpha.) and which is supported on at least one undercarriage. At least one current collector arranged on the roof of the rail vehicle, the current collector being retractable against the inclination of the superstructure by an adjustment angle which is formed by the difference between the angle of inclination (.alpha.) and the roll angle (.beta.).

  • Patent number: 4389942
Abstract: A switch for lateral guide rollers of a two track suspension railroad has a one piece central switch point which is arranged at the fork point of the inner guide surfaces and with which, in the vicinity of its free end, two further switch points may be associated which form parallel sections of guide surfaces which can be swung to the fixed guide surfaces or the central switch point.

  • Patent number: 4303017
Abstract: In winding the stator of a long stator linear motor without iron, the conductors of the traveling wave winding in the stator are designed as round jacketed lines which are fixed to a non-magnetic winding support by cross-bars and retained in place by hardenable non-magnetic material. The conductors of the traveling wave winding are approximately flush with the outside surface of the stator which is disposed opposite an exciter magnet on a moving vehicle.

  • Patent number: 3994236
Abstract: In a magnetic suspension railroad where a suspension vehicle is guided by magnetic forces between a magnet on the vehicle and magnetic fields generated in track coils comprising opposing coil halves, switching contacts are arranged in the coils such that the switching contacts of the desired travel path are closed and the switching contacts of the coils of the other travel path are open.
