Abstract: Textiles treated with a textile treating composition containing a silane or organosiloxane containing both an Si—C bonded aminoalkyl group containing a primary, secondary, or tertiary amine group, and at least one Si—O—C bonded (iso) oxyalkyl radical exhibit excellent soft hand while maintaining superior water-wettability.

Abstract: The optically clear compositions comprising(A) an organopolysiloxane which contains at least one monovalent SiC-bonded radical with primary, secondary and/or tertiary amino groups,(B) 0.01 to 1 part by weight per 100 parts by weight of organopolysiloxane (A) of a group of compounds consisting of water, methanol and ethanol and(C) 0.05 to 20 parts by weight of a solubilizing agent per 100 parts by weight of organopolysiloxane (A), chosen from a group consisting of(C1) C.sub.1 - to C.sub.19 -carboxylic acid C.sub.1 - to C.sub.12 -alkyl esters and -glycol esters,(C2) C.sub.3 - to C.sub.20 -alkanols and C.sub.3 - to C.sub.20 -alkanol-C.sub.1 - to C.sub.12 -alkoxylates and(C3) organosilicon compounds containing glycoside radicals.

Abstract: The aqueous emulsions based on(a) 100 parts by weight of organopolysiloxanes which contain polar groups on Si--C-bonded hydrocarbon radicals and(b) not more than 50 parts by weight of alkyl polyglycosides which are stable toward high concentrations of foreign electrolytes.
