  • Patent number: 4519939
Abstract: A process for the production of a suspension of doped polyacetylene particles, in which process acetylene is initially polymerized in a suspending agent with the formation of a suspension of polyacetylene particles in "burr" form, the catalyst is deactivated or removed, the solvent is optionally exchanged, and p- or n-doping is then carried out by adding a dopant additive in substance or in solution to the suspension.

  • Patent number: 4474333
Abstract: A filtering nozzle for injection molding purposes comprises two parts (1,9), one of which having a bore (6) and the other one a tubular portion (10) fitting within said bore. The tubular portion has internal, annular and axially spaced grooves and has in its outer, envelope surface a number of substantially axial grooves (18) each having such a depth that it penetrates the wall of the tubular portion at the zones of the tops of the internal grooves thus generating a multitude of openings (19) in said tubular portion. By means of channels (7,8,20,21) the plastic melt is directed through the nozzle such that it passes through said openings (19) of the tubular portion. The nozzle parts are screwed into each other, making assembly and dismantling easy.

  • Patent number: 4230328
Abstract: A device to connect an ejector device, of an injection molding machine, to an ejector pin of a mold used with the machine. The device has a holder with jaws which are radially movable therein for clamping and unclamping the ejector pin introduced into the holder. A spring urges the jaws towards the clamping position, and the jaws can be moved to the unclamping position by a manually operable actuator. A latch can hold the jaws in the unclamped position, and the holder has a releasing element mounted in it and arranged so that when actuated by the ejector pin it allows the spring to bring the jaws into the clamping position to lock the ejector pin.

  • Patent number: 3963209
Abstract: In an ejector pin assembly for injection moulding tools the ejector pin plate is positively retracted and locked in its rear position by providing the tool with a rearwardly extending hollow housing, having an inner annular pocket, by slidably arranging in said housing a slidable member, being connected to the ejector pin plate and having radial holes for receiving cupling elements such as balls, segments or the like, by arranging in said housing a spring operated member, which normally prevents the coupling elements from penetrating said sliding member inwardly and by securing to the generally stationary ejector means of the injection moulding machine an ejector rod, which near its free end has an annular groove into which said coupling elements may enter when said rod has been introduced in the housing and the spring operated member as a consequence thereof has been displaced such that it does not any longer cover said openings.
