Abstract: A roll-up window shade assembly for motor vehicles is provided. The roll-up window shade assembly includes a roll-up window shade element having a transparency that is anisotropic over its surface area. As desired, the transparency can change from the top edge of the window to the bottom edge of the window in the sense that a better transparency is provided in the region of the bottom edge of the window. Alternatively, the transparency can change from the rear edge of the window to the front edge of the window with the best transparency being provided next to the front edge of the window.

Abstract: Solid drug formulations for oral administration containing one or more dihydropyridines in doses of between 10 and 240 mg and suitable to be administered as a single dose per day for the treatment of circulatory disorders and high blood pressure.

Abstract: An improved form of administration of 1,4-dihydro-2,6-dimethyl-4-(2-nitrophenyl)-3,5-pyridine-dicarboxylic acid-dimethylester (i.e., Nifedipine) is provided in which the Nifedipine is molecularly dispersed wihtin a solidified melt of polyethylene glycols which are liquid, semi-solid and solid at room temperature. The weight ratio of liquid to non-liquid polyethylene glycols in the solidified melt ranges from about 7:23 to 23:7, the solidification temperature of the mixture ranges from about 25.degree. C. to 62.degree. C. and the mixture has a viscosity of from about 1 to 180,000 poise when measured at 20.degree. C. in admixture with up to about 40 percent by weight of water.

Abstract: A pharmaceutical combination preparation and method for the treatment of circulatory disturbances comprising a dihydropyridine of the formula ##STR1## in which --R.sub.1, is a CH.sub.3 --O--CH.sub.2 --CH.sub.2 -- or CH.sub.3 group; R.sub.2 is a ##STR2## or CH.sub.3 --CH.sub.2 -- group; R.sub.3 is 4, NO.sub.2 or CL; and R.sub.2 is NO.sub.2, H or CL; and pharmaceutically suitable salts thereof; as active substance A and Pentoxifylline as active substance B, the quantity ratios of A:B being from about 1:150 to about 1:2.
