  • Patent number: 7393173
Abstract: The invention relates to a shelf operating device comprising at least one continuous drive element (13) which is guided about two wheels (12, 13) which are arranged at a distance from each other, also comprising an upper strand and a lower strand. At least one gripping means (40, 41) is provided in order to grip a container (2) or a pallet. The gripping means (40, 41) describes a path which extends on deflection areas of the above-mentioned (11, 12) above the path of the drive element (13). The engaging means (40, 41) is embodied in a manner similar to that of forceps and guided such that it executes a lateral movement in order to grip the container (2) or the pallet. Preferably, the gripping means (40, 41) comprises two engaging arms (18, 24; 18?, 24?) which are pivotably mounted and which can be pivoted towards each other in order to grip in a manner similar to that of forceps. Most commercially available containers (2) and pallet can be stored and removed from storage by using said shelf operating device.

  • Publication number: 20040253082
Abstract: The commissioning device comprises a transport device which conveys storage containers (1) from a warehouse (4) to a commissioning work station (3) (3) and returns them thereto (4). The storage containers to be commissioned (1) are presented on a displaceable table (9). The transport device comprises at least one vehicle (2) which transports the storage containers (1) from the warehouse (4) to the table (9) and which transports them back to the warehouse (4).

  • Patent number: 4750966
Abstract: The apparatus comprises an application roller pair which rolls an adhesive tape in a U-shaped manner about the rim of a shaped sheet metal part. The adhesive tape is located initially on a carrier ribbon and is drawn jointly with the former off a storage reel by means of conveyor rollers. After its separation from the carrier tape, the adhesive tape is guided via a loose pre-folding roller to the application roller pair, and the carrier ribbon is led off. The application rollers are pivotable about axes extending parallel with the shafts of the application rollers, and are arranged at the same time resiliently displaceably together with the pre-folding roller in the direction of the shafts. The longitudinal section of the pre-folding roller is concave or V-shaped and is additionally supported, displaceably in the direction of the shafts of the application rollers, by means of softer springs, so that they can follow continuously the edge of the metal sheet and urge the adhesive tape against this edge.

  • Patent number: 4486261
Abstract: An apparatus for the application of an adhesive film strip about the edge of a shaped part of sheet metal comprises a pair of application roller which rolls on the adhesive tape about the metal sheet edge, imparting to the strip a U-shaped cross section. The adhesive film strip is originally on a carrier tape and is on a storage reel from which it is drawn off by conveying rollers. After being separated from the carrier tape, the adhesive film strip is fed via free-wheeling pre-folding rollers to a pair of application rollers, and the carrier tape is removed by means of further conveying rollers. The pair of application rollers and the pre-folding rollers can be swivelled together about an axis extending parallel with the shafts of the application rollers, and are at the same time resiliently displaceable in the direction of this axis. The distance of the application roller shafts from the said swivelling axis is adjustable in order to achieve a leading or a trailing run.

  • Patent number: 4241516
Abstract: Apparatus and method for the treatment of dusty, pulverized, granular goods. The treatment occurs in a vortex chamber with a tangential entrance opening for the gas and in special cases with a separate entrance opening for the goods, and an exit opening for the gas. To control the retention time of the goods in the vortex chamber, a provision is made that the vortex chamber casing comprises an annulus, concentric to the axis of the chamber at its periphery and located opposite to the discharge opening, for the feed of a further treatment gas and for the discharge of the goods.

  • Patent number: 4105137
Abstract: Process and device for the automatic dilution of solutions using a peristaltic pump. Successive dilution processes can be carried out with a relative precision that remains high for a long time and without manual interference, with the advantage that the device is easily adjustable to any desired degrees of dilution. The peristaltic pump rotates continuously at a constant rate in one direction and the suction line immerses alternately, in each case during a certain number of pump strokes, in the solution to be diluted and in a diluent. A dilution operation is comprised of three stages, in which the suction tube is immersed in the diluent in the first and last stages and in the solutions to be diluted in the middle stage.

  • Patent number: 4047700
Abstract: A new method and a new device for the construction of tanks from plates. The device comprises a cylindrical jacket for a vertical tank made from the plates. The plates are connected to one another to form from a bottom part with a ring attached thereto forming a bottom unit of the tank and an upper helically-shaped edge. A cover part is formed comprising a cover with a ring attached thereto, having a lower, correspondingly helically-shaped, edge. The bottom part is placed below the upper part whereafter space for the insertion of additional plates is provided through the stepwise displacement of the cover part relative to the bottom part along a helical line following the edge to make the jacket. The cover part is lifted along the helical line by a linear lifting movement and by a simultaneous rolling movement of the cover part to its dead weight to move along a surface which is inclined in the opposite sense to the inclination of the helical line.
