  • Patent number: 11554334
Abstract: Systems and apparatuses include a generator set including a chassis, an engine mounted to the chassis, an inverter coupled to the engine, and a housing coupled to the chassis. The engine and inverter are contained within the chassis and the housing. An air cleaner is sized to fit within the housing and includes an air cleaner housing defining an inlet and an outlet, and a sealing surface positioned between the inlet and the outlet, and a cover pivotably coupled to the air cleaner housing and including a carrier sized to be received within the air cleaner housing. The cover includes an air filter receiving feature structured to support an air filter and position the air filter between the inlet and the outlet, and a carrier flange structured to seal a portion of the air filter between the sealing surface and the carrier flange when the cover is arranged in a closed position.

  • Patent number: 10851719
Abstract: Systems are disclosed for supplying fuel to fuel-injected gensets in a recreational vehicle. An apparatus includes a fuel injection system having a fuel reservoir and a first pump fluidly coupled to the first reservoir and structured to supply fuel to the fuel reservoir. The fuel injection system is further provided with a pressure sensor and a second pump. The second pump is fluidly coupled to the pressure sensor and structured to provide pressurized fuel from the fuel reservoir to one or more fuel injectors of an associated engine. The second pump is a variable speed fuel pump.

  • Publication number: 20180163862
Abstract: Systems and methods for use in controlling a hydraulically powered AC generator are provided. One control system includes a valve system. The valve system includes a fixed valve configured to provide a substantially constant flow rate of the fluid through the fixed valve to the hydraulically powered AC generator. The valve system further includes a variable valve configured to provide a variable flow rate of the fluid through the variable valve to the hydraulically powered AC generator. The control system further includes a sensor device configured to measure a speed of movement of a component of the hydraulically powered AC generator. The control system further includes a control circuit configured to control the variable flow rate of the variable valve based on the speed of movement of the component measured by the sensor device.
