Abstract: The present invention relates to a color photographic recording material which contains, in at least one layer between the substrate and light-sensitive emulsion layer situated nearest to the substrate, a compound of formula (I) wherein X and Y, independently of each other in each case, represent an electron-attracting group, and X and Y together can form a group which is necessary for the completion of a 5- or 6-membered ring.

Abstract: Colored cyan couplers corresponding to formula II are eminently suitable for masking the yellow secondary density of cyan dyes. The reproduction of blues and yellows is thus improved. Abstract: Using a color photographic negative recording material which contains a most sensitive, a medium-sensitive and a least sensitive silver halide part layer for recording light from at least one of the spectral ranges of red, green and blue, at least one of the two more sensitive part layers containing a DIR coupler and the most sensitive partial layer and the least sensitive part layer containing a color coupler which couples faster than the color coupler in the medium-sensitive part layer by a factor of at least 1.5, the sharpness can be improved without impairing the color grain.

Abstract: The invention relates to an three-point coupling device (3) for connecting a tractor to an implement (4). Two lower hitch arms (5, 5a) have been provided with catching hooks (7, 7a). An upper hitch arm (8) has also been provided with a catching hook (11). The lower hitch arms (5, 5a) may be raised or lowered by a power drive via lifting bars (10, 10a) and lifting arms (9, 9a). The upper hitch arm (8) is suspended from a holding device (20, 20a) which is associated with the lifting bars (10, 10a). As a result, the upper hitch arm (8) may be moved jointly with the lower hitch arms (5, 5a) upon actuation of the power drive which moves the lifting arms (9, 9a) and the lifting bar (10, 10a). It is no longer necessary for the tractor driver to hold the upper hitch arm (8) himself and place it on the upper coupling point (14) of the implement (4).

Abstract: A process for the embedding or containment of waste materials, especially of radioactive waste materials, by embedding in a ceramic matrix through the intermediary of the chemical precipitation of a hydrosol of the matrix, which is formed through the reaction of a nitrate with ammonia or ammonium hydroxide. In this process, the hydrosol is trickled in a pouring column into a precipitation bath, subsequent to the introduction of the material which is to be embedded, in which the hydrosol particles which are formed during the trickling gelatinize into gel particles. The gel particles are removed from the precipitation bath, washed, dried and finally sintered.

Abstract: Polymeric couplers with recurring units which contain at least one urethane and/or urea group, are suitable for the production of improved photographic recording materials.
