Publication number: 20160177952Abstract: The invention relates to a mobile sludge exhauster including a tank for collection of sludge from a device that contains sludge and a vacuum system (8) for creation of suction. Sludge is sucked up and transported in a pipe unit to the tank. The vacuum system (8) includes a vacuum pump (1) and an air inlet pipe (3) for creation of an underpressure and a medium outlet pipe (4). The vacuum system (8) includes a pressure sensor (5) for measuring the absolute pressure P1 in the air inlet pipe (3) or in the vacuum pump (1) and a control and adjustment unit (7) for registering the measured pressure P1 and for correction of the pump's (1) rotational speed. A sludge exhauster is hereby achieved, which functions no matter the atmospheric pressure.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 18, 2014Publication date: June 23, 2016Inventor: Hans LARSEN

Patent number: 8154731Abstract: The present invention offers an alternative strategy for the correlation of interference information to chemical and/or physical properties of a sample. This strategy can be implemented in a method and a system, which offer substantial technical and commercial advantages over state of the art techniques based on interference spectroscopy. The invention further provides a method for standardizing an interferometer, as well as a method and a system using the standardized interferometer.Type: GrantFiled: May 17, 2005Date of Patent: April 10, 2012Assignee: Chemometec A/SInventors: Börkur Arnvidarson, Hans Larsen

Patent number: 6229614Abstract: An interferometer for Fourier spectroscopy, wherein the interferometer comprises a beamsplitter (14) and two retroreflectors (20, 26), characterized in that the beamsplitter (14) is mounted movable, e.g., mounted pivotally or displacably, while both retroreflectors (20, 26) are arranged as fixed retroreflectors. The proposed structure is simple to produce, can be made substantially insensible to environmental vibrations, and it is well suited for routine measurements for the determination of quantities of predefined components in a medium. The interferometer is particularly intended for measurements in the mid- or near-infrared range for determination of the quantities of specified components in a medium, and more specifically in a food product, e.g., a liquid such as milk.Type: GrantFiled: January 6, 1999Date of Patent: May 8, 2001Assignee: Foss Electric A/SInventor: Hans Larsen

Patent number: 5164042Abstract: In a method of producing high-yield pulp from pulp chip material containing lignocellulose the material is treated with steam in a steam treating station (1) for driving air out of the material and heating the latter. Heat treated material is mixed in a mixing station (8) with a liquid containing chemicals. The mixture of steam treated material and said liquid is transferred from the mixing station to an impregnation station (25) for impregnating the material by means of said chemicals. Impregnated material is supplied to a refining station (36) for refining the material. According to the invention the steam treated material is mixed with said liquid in proportions, such that the created mixture of material and liquid leaving the mixing station (8) assumes a flowing pumpable consistency. Further, said flowing mixture is pumped from the mixing station (8) to the impregnation station (25).Type: GrantFiled: October 29, 1991Date of Patent: November 17, 1992Assignee: Celleco ABInventors: Hans Larsen, Leif Klinga
