    Abstract: A device for humidifying and washing air in which a hollow body of a sculptured configuration in a collecting container is supplied with water by a recycling pump so that the water cascades down the outer surface of the body and along the inner surface thereof which can be provided with steps. A mesh can be located within the body and the body can have openings at the top and bottom for enabling air to enter and leave the interior of the body.
