  • Publication number: 20230381549
Abstract: A SCBA with an air storage, a face piece with inner mask (nose cup), breathing regulator(s), a breathing valve, an exhalation valve operating at positive pressure relative to the ambient and a reservoir capable of storing the first part of an exhalation and delivering that part at the subsequent inhalation. The reservoir is positioned in the SCBA's face piece or in close proximity thereto, is in fluid contact with the inner mask, and has a shut-off valve controlled by a carbon-dioxide sensor. The operating pressure of the reservoir is maintained above ambient pressure and the operating pressure of the reservoir is between the opening pressure of the SCBA's breathing valve and the SCBA's exhalation valve.

  • Patent number: 10775013
Abstract: A vehicular light is provided which is capable of forming an emission pattern with a good appearance at the time of lighting. The vehicular light has a light guide body having a light guide portion and a slit that penetrates the light guide portion in its thickness direction and linearly extend along a light guide path of light rays emitted from a plurality of LED light sources and guided within the light guide portion. The slit is composed of three regions including a constant width region formed in a predetermined length range toward the distal end, a tapered width region gradually narrowing toward the distal end, and a distal end region having a distal end of a curved surface shape formed in the distal end portion of the tapered width region.

  • Publication number: 20190335931
Abstract: The invention involves the incorporation and enablement of elements that are incorporated into a consumer product that provide necessary balance, placement, positioning, shape, contour, and geometry that prevent a portion of the product from touching or contacting a surface on which the product is placed. The elements can be readily integrated into high-volume consumable products to increase utility, function and features of the consumable product at minimal incremental cost and adjustment to production and manufacturing processes. The invention further reports processes and compositions that enable consumable products with differentiating features, which products would otherwise be deficient for their intended use and application.
