  • Patent number: 9828188
Abstract: A belt-stripper module for a conveyor belt includes a stripping body. The stripping body includes a cutter carrier, a stripping blade attached thereto and a stripping edge unit attached to the stripping blade. The cutter carrier is rotatable about a stripping-body axis of rotation. The stripping edge unit is positionable so as to form an obtuse angle ? relative to the conveyor belt in a running direction of the conveyor belt and to rest against the conveyor belt at an acute angle ?, as measured at a right angle to the running direction and as seen in direction of the belt surface. The stripping-body axis of rotation intersects the stripping edge unit of the stripping blade at a point of intersection. A stripping-body pivot axis connecting the base and stripping body, as seen in the running direction, is located in front of the point of intersection.

  • Patent number: 6843363
Abstract: Apparatus for stripping a belt in conveyor belt assemblies includes a stripping element on a system carrier, the stripping element having a stripping lamella on a lamella holder, the stripping lamella contacting the belt in a peeling position, wherein the stripping element has a swivel mount coupled to the lamella holder and a swivel axis parallel to a plane of the belt, a spring for pressing the stripping lamella against the belt such that the lamella holder in the peeling position is swiveled about the horizontal axis, and when obstructions adhering to the belt impact the stripping lamella, the lamella holder deflects and returns a working position, wherein the stripping lamella is swivel mounted at the lamella holder by a swivel mount having an axis parallel to a plane of the belt and is held and spring biased by a top spring is counter to the bottom swivel mount spring.

  • Patent number: 5950803
Abstract: An arrangement to strip unwanted matter from belt bands in conveyor belt installations, comprises a systems support attached to a supporting structure for the belt band and stripping members each having a scraper blade spring-loaded in the ready-to-operate position against the belt band in a peeling fashion, and can, when the scraper blade encounters obstacles adhering to the belt band, pivot away and subsequently pivot back into the ready-to-operate positions. The blade support is supported by a pivot bearing having a limited pivot angle such that the scraper blade can adjust to changes in inclination of the belt band.

  • Patent number: 5518107
Abstract: The invention relates to a stripping element (4) for placing on a system support or carrier (3) of a stripping device (1) for the discharge and of a conveyor belt (2), which has a stripping plate (8), which is in the ready-to-operate position engages in stripping manner on the conveyor belt (2), a plate support (9), to whose upper end is fixed the stripping plate (8), a torsion spring joint (7) on which the plate support (9) is guided in pivotable and spring-loaded manner about a horizontal axis, a base (6) on which is held the torsion spring joint (7) and which is placed on the system carrier (3), a vertical adjustment device (21, 26; 44, 51) for the vertical adjustment of the stripping plate (8) along a first axis (A1), a pivot bearing (17, 34) for pivoting the stripping plate (8) about a second axis (A2) for setting the parallelism of the stripping edge of the stripping plate (8 ) with respect to the conveyor belt (2).

  • Patent number: 4743408
Abstract: A device for continuously introducing a gas into a liquid, in connection with a flotation operation, a deinking unit or the like. The liquid issues from an endless annular gap (6) which does not have any internal obstacles whatever such as boundary walls or the like and, after absorbing the gas, flows into a radial diffuser (14) from which the liquid, enriched with gas bubbles, issues into the treatment container of the apparatus. Therefore, for a treatment tank of circular cross-section, a single gasification device which is disposed centrally in the vicinity of the bottom is sufficient. An optional swirl flow may be produced by suitable deflection in the region of the diffuser or in the chamber for the liquid, which is disposed upstream in the annular gap.

  • Patent number: 4696389
Abstract: The invention provides for a mounting for a belt scraper assembly to permit displacement of the assembly when the belt executes a reverse movement. It includes a pivoted lever arm arrangement whereby the assembly can execute an arcuate movement during reverse movement of the belt. It further includes torque storage means which maintains the scraper in contact with the belt and resists arcuate displacement of the assembly.
