  • Publication number: 20100181298
Abstract: An induction coil for use in a method for the inductive heating of metallic components, particularly components of a gas turbine, is disclosed. The coil includes at least two windings and the distance between the individual windings is configured such that the component or components to be heated can be inserted between two windings that are spaced apart from each other. A method and a device for the inductive heating of metallic components, particularly components of a gas turbine, and to a component produced by the method is also disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20100098551
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for coating components of a gas turbine, in particular for producing a wear-resistant, temperature, oxidation and/or corrosion-resistant protective coating on the component, wherein the protective coating is made of at least one solder film or slurry coating, which is connected to the corresponding region of the component by means of an inductive high-temperature soldering method. The bonded connection between the component and the solder film or slurry coating disposed on the component is achieved by locally heating the component in the region of the solder film or slurry coating to be applied, and simultaneously heating the solder film or slurry coating by means of thermal energy generated and emitted by at least one induction amplifier, wherein the induction amplifier is disposed between the inductor and the component in the region of the solder film or slurry coating.

  • Publication number: 20100012230
Abstract: An apparatus for the heat treatment of integral rotors of gas turbines is disclosed. The apparatus includes a closable working space which can be evacuated or filled with inert gas, a heat source, a distance-measuring instrument, and a pyrometer. A method for diminishing and/or for eliminating internal stresses which are introduced into a component through welding is also disclosed.
