Patents by Inventor Hans-Peter Bierbaumer

Hans-Peter Bierbaumer has filed for patents to protect the following inventions. This listing includes patent applications that are pending as well as patents that have already been granted by the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).

  • Patent number: 8565588
Abstract: The invention relates to a method of heating a fluid (9) containing dipolar particles, such as molecules or clusters of molecules, whereby the fluid (9) is subjected to an electric field in a heat generator (1) causing its particles to be oriented according to their charge. Voltage pulses are applied to the particles, as a result of which their short-range order is destroyed, after which the short-range order can be re-combined during pulse pauses or externally to the heat generator (1), thereby releasing or generating thermal energy.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: April 15, 2005
Date of Patent: October 22, 2013
Inventors: Hans-Peter Bierbaumer, Philipp Michaylovich Kanarev
  • Publication number: 20120308212
Abstract: The invention relates to a device (1) for heating a fluid (9), with a housing (2) comprising a housing shell (3), a housing base (4) and a housing cover (5), with at least one inlet opening (11) and at least one outlet opening (13) for the fluid (9), and at least two electrodes are disposed in the housing (2) at a distance (25) apart from one another, which are each electrically conductively connected to a pole of at least one pulse generator (20). A smoothing section (38) for the fluid (9) is provided after the electrode(s) in the flow direction—arrow (27)—of the fluid (9).

  • Publication number: 20070065765
Abstract: The invention relates to a device for converting energy comprising a gas generator (6) for generating a hydrogen-oxygen mixture or Brown gas with a reaction chamber (19) in which electrodes (29) are disposed. The reaction chamber (19) is of a rotationally symmetrical shape with respect to an axis (18) and at least certain regions of inner boundary surfaces (20) of the reaction chamber (19) in the region of a jacket (21) of the reaction chamber (19) are formed by inner electrode surfaces (30, 31) of the electrodes (29) of the gas generator (6).

  • Publication number: 20050167368
Abstract: A method and a device allow treating waste water discharged from a purification or sewage treatment plant for local waste water. An amount of endocrinically active hormones and hormones dangerous to aquatic environments or hormone metabolites from the group of oestranes contained in the discharged water is reduced in the flow of the waste water leaving the waste-water purification or sewage plant by guiding the same in the form of a continuous fluid body through the field or radiation cone of a radiation source emitting ionizing radiation (gamma, x-ray, and/or electron radiation).
