Abstract: A system includes a color camera configured to detect visible light and ultraviolet (UV) light, a UV illuminator, and a processor configured to perform operations. The operations include causing the UV illuminator to emit UV light towards a portion of an environment and receiving, from the color camera, a color image that represents the portion illuminated by the emitted UV light and by visible light incident thereon. The operations also include determining a first extent to which UV light is attenuated in connection with pixels of the color camera that have a first color and a second extent to which UV light is attenuated in connection with pixels of the color camera that have a second color. The operations further include generating a UV image based on the color image, the first extent, and the second extent, and identifying a feature of the environment by processing the UV image.

Abstract: An approach is provided for resolving incoherent data items of a user spanning multiple different groups and/or services. An incoherency platform determines an incoherency of a first data item and at least a second data item that are shared by a first user in a first group and at least a second group, respectively. The platform also processes the incoherency, the first data item, the at least a second data item, or a combination thereof to cause, at least in part, a generation of a resolved data item. The platform further causes, at least in part, a substitution of the resolved data item for the first data item, the at least a second data item, or a combination thereof.

Abstract: Techniques for sharing of data by dynamic groups include determining a first digital data set to be shared by devices of members of a first group. One or more entities are determined who are currently members of the first group. At least in part, actions are caused, which result in a change in members of the first group based on input from any of the members of the first group. In some embodiments, techniques include determining a different second digital data set to be shared by devices of members of a second group.
