  • Patent number: 5429052
Abstract: A circuit arrangement is provided for firing dummy target sub-members from a cartridge barrel in a freely selectable chronological sequence by igniting ejection charges respectively permanently connected via an electrical ignitor to an ignition circuit and to a respective sub-munition. The ignition circuit--in the condition of the cartridge when it is loaded with sub-munitions arranged above one another--has switch-connection modules, each of which is respectively connected to a sub-munition to provide a series connection. A switch/connection module is a component part of a sub-munition unit to be fired which also has an electrical ignitor, an ejection charge and a sub-munition.
