  • Patent number: 11814101
Abstract: A front-end structure for a motor vehicle includes two first bodyshell parts spaced apart from each other in the transverse direction of the vehicle for a self-supporting body of the motor vehicle, and includes a bulkhead in the form of a second bodyshell part for the self-supporting body. At least one assembly carrier forwardly overlaps at least a partial region of the bulkhead in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle and is in the form of a third bodyshell part for the body, and via which the two first bodyshell parts are connected to each another. A carrier element is formed separately from the assembly carrier and separately from the first bodyshell parts, and is mounted on the assembly carrier in a vibration-damped manner via bearing elements and on which at least one component for the motor vehicle, which component is formed separately from the bodyshell parts, separately from the carrier element and separately from the bearing elements, is held.

  • Publication number: 20190255901
Abstract: A motor vehicle has a chassis and a passenger cell which is mounted on the chassis by way of vibration-damping connection elements. The chassis forms an undercarriage with at least two front wheels mutually spaced in the transverse direction of the vehicle and at least two rear wheels mutually spaced in the transverse direction of the vehicle, and with at least one drive device. The chassis is provided with front and rear energy-absorbing deformation elements of a front and rear bumper structure, respectively.

  • Patent number: 9555834
Abstract: A motor vehicle body includes a longitudinal beam, a bumper cross member, which is fixed to one end of the longitudinal beam, wherein an end section of the bumper cross member protrudes over the longitudinal beam in the transverse direction, and a cantilever beam, which protrudes into a space between a wheel mount and the bumper cross member. The cantilever beam and the end section of the bumper cross member are disposed so as to cooperate with each other such that, during a frontal collision, in particular during a frontal collision with small overlap, the end section of the bumper cross member deformed by the frontal collision impacts an end face of the cantilever beam and can be supported at this end face so that further deformation of the end section of the bumper cross member is prevented.

  • Patent number: 5088168
Abstract: A yarn texturing apparatus is disclosed which includes a nozzle having a yarn duct therethrough, and a perforated stuffer box at the outlet end of the duct. Heated air is introduced into the duct, and the air is heated by a heater which is positioned in the air supply line leading to the nozzle. The output of the heater is controlled by a temperature sensor which is positioned inside the stuffer box. Also, the nozzle comprises two confronting sections which can be separated to facilitate yarn thread-up, and a valve is provided in the supply line to divert the heated air to an exhaust line when the nozzle is opened. A second temperature sensor is positioned in the supply line and is operative when the nozzle is opened to regulate the output of the heater and avoid large fluctuations of its output.
