Abstract: O,S-dialkyl S-[carbamyloxyalkyl] dithiophosphates of the general formula (I) ##STR1## where, independently of one another, R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 are each alkyl of not more than 4 carbon atoms and R.sup.3, R.sup.4 and R.sup.5 are each hydrogen or alkyl of not more than 6 carbon atoms, or R.sup.4 and R.sup.5, together with the nitrogen atom to which they are bonded, form a saturated or olefinically unsaturated ring which contains not more than 6 carbon atoms and may or may not contain one or more oxygen, sulfur or nitrogen atoms, are used for controlling insects or mites.

Abstract: 2-Fluorophenyl(di)thiophosphates of the formula ##STR1## where R.sup.1 is alkyl of 1 to 3 carbon atoms, R.sup.2 is alkyl or haloalkyl of 1 to 5 carbon atoms, alkoxyalkyl or alkylthioalkyl of 2 to 6 carbon atoms or cycloalkyl of 3 to 6 carbon atoms, R.sup.3, R.sup.4 and R.sup.5 independently of one another are hydrogen, halogen, cyano, nitro or alkyl, alkoxy or alkylthio of 1 to 4 carbon atoms and X is oxygen or sulfur, and their use in pest control.

Abstract: Novel O,S-dialkyl-O-(4-fluorophenyl)-(di)thiophosphoric acid esters of the formula ##STR1## where R.sup.1 is alkyl of from 1 to 3 carbon atoms, R.sup.2 is alkyl of from 1 to 5 carbon atoms, cycloalkyl of 5 or 6 carbon atoms, alkoxyalkyl of from 2 to 7 carbon atoms or alkylthioalkyl of from 2 to 7 carbon atoms, R.sup.3 is hydrogen, halogen, alkyl of from 1 to 4 carbon atoms, haloalkyl, alkoxy or alkylthio, each of from 1 to 4 carbon atoms, cyano or nitro, R.sup.4 denotes halogen, alkyl of from 1 to 4 carbon atoms, haloalkyl, alkoxy or alkylthio, each of from 1 to 4 carbon atoms, cyano or nitro, and X is oxygen or sulfur, R.sup.4 additionally denoting hydrogen when X is sulfur or when X is oxygen and R.sup.2 is methyl, n-propyl, sec-butyl, isobutyl, tert-butyl or pentyl, which compounds are valuable pesticides.

Abstract: N-sulfonylated thiolphosphoric ester amides of the formula ##STR1## where R.sup.1, R.sup.2, R.sup.3, X and n have the meanings given in the description, and their use for controlling insects, arachnida and nematodes.

Abstract: The compound 2-(methylthiomethylthio)-phenyl-N-methylcarbamate of the formula ##STR1## and a process for controlling pests with this compound. The compound is particularly effective on plant-damaging Homoptera.

Abstract: The compound 2-(1-methylpropyn-2-yl-thio)-phenyl-N-methylcarbamate of the formula ##STR1## and a process for combating pests with this compound. The compound is effective on pests such as ectoparasites, and especially ticks.

Abstract: Haloalkyldithiophosphoric acid esters of the formula ##STR1## where R.sup.1 is methyl or ethyl, R.sup.2 is alkyl of 2 to 4 carbon atoms, A is linear or branched alkylene of 2 to 4 carbon atoms and X is chlorine or bromine, which are active against pests, especially insects, mites and ticks, a process for the manufacture of these active ingredients, pesticides containing these haloalkyldithiophosphoric acid esters as active ingredients, and a process for combating pests with these active ingredients.

Abstract: A process for the manufacture of .beta.-haloacetals or .beta.-haloketals by reaction of substituted or unsubstituted phenols with vinyl ethers in the presence of chlorine-liberating compounds and an inert diluent or solvent at a temperature of from -70 to +40.degree. C.
