Abstract: A device and a method are provided for machining running surfaces on head end pieces of revolving flats. The device has a base frame with a longitudinal axis and is provided with clamping devices for fixing the revolving flat at at least two points distributed on the longitudinal axis. The device comprises two chip-removal machining devices which are arranged outboard the clamping devices viewed in the direction of the longitudinal axis. A sliding guide is provided for accommodating the clamping devices in the device.

Abstract: A device attaches a flexible clothing in the form of a clothing strip to a card flat bar of a revolving card flat. The card flat bar has a card flat foot with a clothing take-up surface and a web lying above the card flat foot. At least two clips are provided on the clothing strip. The device includes means to accommodate and hold the card flat bar and the clothing strip. The device furthermore includes press rams, which are guided in a moveable manner transversely to the longitudinal direction of the card flat bar and from both sides parallel to the clothing take-up surface of the card flat bar. By means of the movement of the press rams, an integral formation of the clips on the card flat foot is caused. The press rams have a drive with compression hoses.

A clothing strip held on the card-flat bar by fastening means in the form of clips or clamps is released form the card-flat bar with the aid of a device resulting in at least partial opening of the fastening means. The device has a bearing face and a retainer for bearing on the card-flat bar or on the clip and has a spike for the at least partial opening of the clip.

Abstract: A method for fastening a clothing strip to a card-flat bar by a fastening means in the form of clips is presented. In this case, the clips are integrally formed onto the card-flat foot by press rams guided simultaneously from both sides of the card-flat bar and parallel to the plane of the clothing strip. The clip is integrally formed onto the card-flat foot and loops around the latter with a looping angle of less than 90° and more than 30°. A corresponding tool for carrying out the method and also a revolving card flat are likewise proposed.

Abstract: A method for fastening a clothing strip (10) to a card-flat bar (21, 31) by a fastening means in the form of clips (25, 35) is presented. In this case, the clips (5, 25, 35) are integrally formed onto the card-flat foot (23, 33) by press rams (12) guided simultaneously from both sides of the card-flat bar (21, 31) and parallel to the plane of the clothing strip (10). The clip (25, 35) integrally formed onto the card-flat foot (23, 33) loops around the latter with a looping angle (?) of less than 90° and more than 30° (degrees of angle). A corresponding tool for carrying out the method and also a revolving card flat are likewise proposed.

Abstract: A method is proposed for fixing a clothing strip on a base surface of a flat rod by means of at least one clothing clip which comprises a first terminal section for attachment to the flat rod and a second terminal section for attachment to the clothing strip. The method is characterised in that a central section of the at least one clothing provided between the first and the second terminal section is deformed directly before or after the clothing clip has been placed against the flat rod. A corresponding clothing clip and a corresponding pressing tool are furthermore proposed.

The method is characterised in that a central section (23; 123; 123?) of the at least one clothing clip (20; 120; 120?) provided between the first and the second terminal section (21, 22; 121, 122; 121?, 122?) is deformed directly before or after the clothing clip (20; 120; 120?) has been placed against the flat rod (1). A corresponding clothing clip (20; 120; 120?) and a corresponding pressing tool (30) are furthermore proposed.
