Abstract: In a method for determining a target processing state of a cooking product to be treated using a cooking appliance, a set of images of the cooking product in different processing states is provided to a user, with measurement signatures being stored for the images. When the user selects one of the images, the cooking appliance assumes a corresponding one of the measurement signatures associated with the selected image as a target measurement signature.

Abstract: In a fitting for a vehicle seat, in particular a detent fitting for a motor vehicle seat, having a first fitting part; a second fitting part that can be rotated and locked relative to the first fitting part; at least one locking element (17) the longitudinal direction of which is aligned in the radial direction, in which the locking element (17) is movable between guiding segments of the first fitting part with play in the transverse direction, and the radially outward side of the locking element cooperating with the second fitting part for the locking process; and an eccentric that, for the locking process, bears against the radially inward side of the locking element (17), for moving the locking element (17) radially outward, the locking element (17) is separated into at least two segments (19, 20) along at least one dividing line (18).

Abstract: The invention relates to a manufacturing method for a membrane mask suitable for particle beams with mask fields, which are bounded by thin support walls.The deep plasma etching for the formation of the support walls is halted shortly before reaching the membrane and the last .mu.m before the membrane removed by wet-chemical etching. A high etch selectivity can be achieved using an alkaline etching solution.The support walls 1 are turned by 45.degree. to the (110) direction or oriented parallel to the (100) plane, so that the structures restricted by (111) planes are avoided.

Abstract: An insecticidally active fraction is obtained from black pepper by a process comprising the following steps:(a) extraction of black pepper in ground form with CO.sub.2 at 30 to 70.degree. C. and 150 to 500 bar;(b) removal of sharp tasting fractions therein in a first expansion step at 25 to 35.degree. C. and 70 to 150 bar;(c) removal of an oily fraction containing the insecticidally active components as well as most of the essential oils in a second expansion step at 15 to 30.degree. C. and 40 to 70 bar;(d) removal of essential oils by steam distillation, and if desired;(e) hydrogenation of the insecticidally active components.

Abstract: A liquid concentrate which has a content of proteases and/or amylases, non-ionic and optionally anionic surfactants, water and optionally solvents selected from mono- and poly-valent alcohols and ethers thereof, which concentrate contains an alkoxylated alkylamine of the formula ##STR1## wherein R is alkyl of 4 to 20 carbon atoms, R' is hydrogen or alkyl of 1 to 10 carbon atoms, provided that the sum of the carbon atoms in R and R' is from 9 to 19, R" is hydrogen, methyl or hydroxymethyl, x is an integer from 1 to 5, and y is 0 or an integer from 1 to 5, provided that the sum of x and y is from 1 to 10; as well as its use as a washing and cleaning agent and washing and cleaning formulations containing the same.

Abstract: A device for tempering and/or sterilizing objects which must be kept free of contamination by foreign particles, such as for example, ampules sterilized in pharmaceutical preparations, has a housing and means for supporting the objects in the housing. A pair of gas distribution plates are mounted in the housing in spaced relationship to each other, on either side of the support means, and cooperate with means for supplying conditioned air to produce a laminar flow of the conditioned air downwardly over the objects being treated. The conditioned air has a substantially different temperature than the objects being treated and can be either heated or cooled depending upon whether the device is used for sterilizing or tempering. Because of the maintenance of laminar flow in the housing, the number of contaminating particles per space unit which can come into contact with the objects being treated is decreased.
