  • Patent number: 4832295
Abstract: A fondue stand having four vertically upstanding partition walls defining upper edge surfaces upon which is supported a fondue pot. The vertical partition walls are angularly spaced apart on a main supporting frame such that, when the fondue pot is supported on the upper edge surfaces, the partition walls lie in vertical planes offset from, or at an angle to, the vertical planes containing the diameters of the circular cross section of the fondue pot. In an alternative embodiment, a security ring for a stove range is provided, with the main body portion being circular and having a central cutout from which extends a hollow central hub insertable into the circular opening of the range of the stove, for supporting pots and pans in a safe manner on the range.

  • Patent number: 4665594
Abstract: A multi-purpose clip for holding papers, bills, and the like formed a one continuous material, where there is formed an inner heart-shaped loop and an outer heart-shaped loop. The inner loop is provided with a pair of end-portions which overlap and crisscross such that in a first state of the end-portions the two end-portions are biassed toward each other, and in a second state are free from contact with each other. The end-portions provide a torsion effect to aid in the holding of workpieces in the clip, as well as allowing for the clip to be used as a key ring, and the like. The clip may be used such that the workpieces may be inserted and held in three different manners utilizing different portions of the clip as the portions sandwiching therebetween the workpieces.

  • Patent number: 4315352
Abstract: A locking device for bracelets and necklaces having two ends, each provided with a chain link, includes a first plate and a second plate which are pivotably coupled together for movement about a common pivot axis between an opening and locking position. The plates each have an aperture formed therethrough aligned with the pivot axis through which one of the chain links may extend and the first plate has a hook-like end portion for receiving the other of the chain links. The second plate has an arcuate slot formed therein running in a concentric manner with respect to the pivot axis which defines an arched portion on an end portion of the second plate disposed distal to the pivot axis relative to another end portion thereof. The arched portion also runs concentrically with respect to the pivot axis and, in the locking position, is received through the other chain link received in the hook-like end portion of the first plate.
