  • Patent number: 5330564
Abstract: Aqueous and storage-stable compositions for the deposition of temporary barrier layers on spray-coating booths and the like contain5 to 80% by weight of one or more C.sub.8 -carboxylic acid and/or an alkali metal salt thereof,1 to 40% by weight of a pH-regulator consisting of one or more alkanol amine and/or alkali metal hydroxide, and1 to 15% by weight of one or more layered silicate and/or polyacrylate and/or carboxymethylcellulose, together with water and any further desired additives, and have a pH value of 6 to 10 and a viscosity of 30 to 50 DIN-sec.The invention also provides a process for the production of such compositions.

  • Patent number: 4639613
Abstract: The disclosure relates to a broad band coupling arrangement with coupling point switches in ECL technology, whereby a plurality of coupling point switches are formed by a corresponding plurality of linkage elements which are integrated on one chip. In order to reduce the power comsumption, a switching transistor is inserted in the operating voltage supply of each chip, said switching transistor only being conductive when at least one linkage element of the appertaining chip is selected. The disclosure can particularly be employed in the distribution of video signals.

  • Patent number: 4616358
Abstract: For switching or, respectively, distributing broadband communication signals in message switching systems, broadband switching matrix networks having crosspoint circuits realized in an ECL technology and which are formed by controllable multiplexers is provided. The controllable multiplexers are mutually interconnected to form multistage crosspoint pyramids respectively exhibiting an outgoing line and a plurality of incoming lines, whereby the controllable multiplexers of a respective plurality of crosspoint pyramids are combined on a chip module. The chip module may be a master slice module. An additional transfer crosspoint in the form of a 2-bit multiplexer can be provided at the tip of the pyramid at each crosspoint pyramid, the additional transfer crosspoint also being connectible to the pyramid chip of a further crosspoint pyramid in order to therefore introduce a corresponding expansion of the switching matrix network.

  • Patent number: 4533878
Abstract: A circuit for amplifying electrical signals, particularly for devices for transmitting frequency-modulated emitter coupled logic (ECL) broad-band signals by means of coaxial lines utilizes a plurality of ECL logic elements as amplifier stages. The input of each logic element is connected to a bias voltage and is charged by means of a coupling capacitor with the signal to be amplified. The circuit amplifies electrical signals to ECL level with an improved signal pulse duty factor.

  • Patent number: 4346381
Abstract: The disclosure relates to coupling point switches in ECL technology. The coupling point switches are each formed by means of a differential amplifier circuit with two emitter-coupled high frequency transistors; in order to reduce the power consumption, a switching transistor is inserted in the common emitter current circuit, the switching transistor only being conductive when the appertaining coupling point is driven into the through-connected condition. The disclosure can particularly be employed in the distribution of video signals.
