  • Patent number: 11059250
Abstract: A pressing head (100) for a device for pressing material to be pressed, e.g., an extrusion press for pressing chips. The pressing head (100) comprises at least two pressing channels (1, 1?), each having an inlet opening (11, 11?) and an outlet opening (12, 12?). Each pressing channel (1, 1?) has a stationary supporting element (2, 2?) and a movable pressing element (3, 3?). The pressing element (3, 3?) is movable on one side, preferably relative to the supporting element (2, 2?). A cross-section (QA) of the pressing channel, at the outlet opening of the pressing channel, can be varied relative to the cross-section (QE) of the pressing channel, at the inlet opening of the pressing channel.

  • Patent number: 9827161
Abstract: A chair (1) for relieving back pain of a user, with a seat surface (2) and a backrest (3), wherein a backrest angle (4) between backrest (3) and seat surface (2) is adaptable. At least one support element (5) for supporting the upper body of the user, when the latter is in an intended sitting position, is arranged on the backrest (3), wherein the support element (5), in the intended sitting position, can preferably be arranged, or is arranged, under the armpits of the user. The support element (5) is designed in such a way, and arranged on the backrest in such a way, that it can be moved by the user in order to obtain a desired support of the upper body at a predefined backrest angle (4) while he is in the intended sitting position.

  • Publication number: 20150375467
Abstract: A feeding device for feeding lumpy material into a briquette press comprises a receiving channel for the lumpy material. A feed screw, for loading the briquette press, is arranged in the receiving channel at one outlet end. The receiving channel comprises at least one conveying device with at least one driver. The conveying device is arranged upstream of the filling device for conveying at least part of the lumpy material to the feed screw. The at least one driver is configured as a projection with a height which is greater than a maximum width.

  • Publication number: 20060110485
Abstract: An apparatus for making dust or sediment, such as metal grinding sludge, into briquettes, the apparatus having a charging apparatus with a container for loading the material to be pressed. A charging screw is disposed in the container. The charging screw is driven by a screw driving means and forces the material to be pressed out via a container opening. In addition, there is a briquette press, which has a shaping chamber, in which a press ram is displaceable and which has a supply opening to the inlet of the material to be pressed, which is forced out of the container opening, and a closure slide apparatus for closing and opening the end of the shaping chamber. The charging apparatus is in the form of an independent module and is attachable to the briquette press and is thus easily interchangeable.

  • Patent number: 6699711
Abstract: A device and method are disclosed for selective exposure of a biological sample, preferably biological cell material, to sound waves. The device is provided with a receptacle for the sample, in which the biological sample is in a suspended form, and having an electroacoustic transducer device, which generates sound waves and which is disposed outside the receptacle of the sample in such a manner that sound-wave coupling into said sample occurs through the wall of said receptacle.

  • Patent number: 6241454
Abstract: A lift truck vehicle (F) with a lift device (4) which comprises a positioning device (6) which is inclined with respect to the vertical. The positioning device (6) serves the setting up of the carrier fork (5) (or related device) independently of the lift device (4). The positioning device (6) is arranged over the front axle (9a) of the vehicle (F). The lift mast (3) is mounted laterally displaced behind the front axle (9a). The invention thus achieves optimal viewing conditions, particularly on loading the carrier fork (5) at half the height, and simultaneously an improved position of the center of gravity of the vehicle (F).

  • Patent number: 5873304
Abstract: A compacting press, in particular for waste paper in offices, has a small footprint and a high pressing density. The press ram is disposed in the vertical direction above a pressed part container. Disposed between a shaping chamber and the pressed part container is a closure slide which can move backwards and forwards in the horizontal direction to close the shaping chamber in the pressing position. The pressed part container is removably arranged on one side of the frame of the hydraulically driven compacting press and takes the form of a rolling container which can hold a plurality of pressed parts and is provided with rollers. The base surface of the container corresponds approximately to the footprint of the compacting press.
