  • Patent number: 5676126
Abstract: A masonry slitting apparatus includes a housing (1) containing a drive unit (2) for a slitting tool (4) and a trolley (3) to which the housing is pivotally connected by a rotary bearing (6) located in a first end region of the housing and trolley. The trolley (3) has a locking rail projecting toward the housing in a second end region with an adjustable depth stop (18) located on the locking rail (17). The housing (1) has a locking pawl (12) cooperating with the locking rail (17) and the pawl is actuated by a locking switch (11) in a handle (9) on the housing (1). The depth stop (18) has a locking arm (28) for securing the housing in a working position.

  • Patent number: 5669371
Abstract: A masonry-slitting apparatus has a housing (1) containing a drive unit (2) for a slitting member (4), and a trolley (3) on which the housing (1) is pivotally mounted about a rotary bearing (6) located in a first end region of the housing. The housing (1) has a first handle (10) in the first end region and a second handle (9) in a second end region at the opposite end from the first end region. Each handle (9, 10) has a substantially cylindrically shaped gripping surface (12, 13) extending parallel to one another and disposed at right angles to a disk plane of the slitting member (4). An electric switch (5) is located in the gripping surface (13) of the first handle (10) and a locking switch (11), actuating an arresting element (8), is located in the gripping surface (12) of the second handle (9).

  • Patent number: 5000631
Abstract: A working tool holder for a drilling or chiseling device includes a holder sleeve with an axially extending conically shaped section within a holder opening or bore. A working tool to be secured in the holder sleeve, has a tool shaft with a conically shaped section to engage the conically shaped section in the holder opening. Grooves are formed in the tool shaft to receive inwardly projecting ridges in the holder opening. The tool shaft has recesses to receive the pins mounted in the holder sleeve. The tool shaft and an actuating sleeve extending around the holder sleeve each have connecting threads for securing the working tool in the holder.

  • Patent number: 4701083
Abstract: A tool holder for drilling and chiselling tools includes a receiving sleeve forming a bore with a conically shaped section for receiving a conically shaped shank on a drilling or chiselling tool. Shoulders extending in the axial direction of the sleeve are formed on the surface of the conically shaped section for interengagement with grooves in the drilling or chiselling tool shank so that the sleeve can rotate the tool. Locking elements in the form of axially elongated pins are mounted in the receiving sleeve so that the pins extend transversely of the sleeve axis and tangentially of the conically shaped bore section. The pins are spring biased toward the bore section and are displaceable generally radially relative to the bore. The pins are arranged to seat within an annular groove in the shank of the tool.

  • Patent number: 4540149
Abstract: A stand for a drilling tool includes a support column with a carriage movably mounted on the column. A carrier member for a drilling tool can be secured to the carriage with support sections on the carrier member in engagement with support surfaces on the carriage. One of these support surfaces is provided by the eccentric circumferential surface on an eccentric peg which is rotatably mounted in the carriage. The support section engageable with the peg has a catch projection which prevents displacement of the carrier member from the carriage when the eccentric surface on the peg is aligned opposite the corresponding support section on the carrier member. The projection extends outwardly from the support section by an amount at least equal to the eccentricity of the circumferential surface of the peg.
