Abstract: A disc brake for utility vehicles includes a brake disc, a first brake lining on a first side of the brake disc and a second brake lining on a second side of the brake disc opposite the first side. A spreading device is also provided which generates a force that moves the first and the second brake lining away from one another.

Abstract: The present invention provides a method for the manufacture of a carbonated beverage, including the steps of: providing oxygen-reduced water; mixing the oxygen-reduced water with a mixing component to obtain a beverage mixture, adding a gas comprising CO2 to the beverage mixture to obtain a beverage mixture mixed with CO2, reducing the oxygen content of the beverage mixture mixed with CO2 in a first container to obtain an oxygen-reduced beverage mixture mixed with CO2, discharging the oxygen-reduced beverage mixture mixed with CO2 from the first container, determining the CO2 content of the oxygen-reduced beverage mixture mixed with CO2; and adding further CO2 to the discharged oxygen-reduced beverage mixture mixed with CO2 on the basis of the determined CO2 content to obtain a finally carbonated beverage.

Abstract: Isoindoline compounds of the formula ##STR1## where A is --CN or ##STR2## These compounds are pigments which give brilliant and deep colorations, of good fastness, in plastics and surface coatings.

Abstract: A process for the preparation of an easily dispersible pigment, of high tinctorial strength, having the formula ##STR1## where A is cyano, carbonamido, N-phenyl or N-(chlorophenyl)-carbonamido or is a 5-membered or 6-membered unsaturated heterocyclic ring fused to a benzene ring and B is a barbituric acid radical, by condensing 1-amino-3-imino-insoindoline with the appropriate cyanomethylene compound at pH>7 and then with barbituric acid at pH 1.5-3.5, in an aqueous medium or in water, at from 20.degree. to 150 C. The process may be used to produce high-hiding or transparent pigments which give brilliant colorations.
