  • Publication number: 20240099782
Abstract: A bone clamp including two or more clamping members configured to clampingly receive a bone therebetween. The bone clamp further includes a basis supporting at least two of the clamping members at a first distance to each other. At least one of the at least two clamping members has a body and is rotatably supported by the basis. The at least one rotatably supported clamping member has a bone engaging structure extending helically along at least a part of a length of its body. The bone engaging structure is configured to engage a side surface of the bone upon rotation of the at least one rotatably supported clamping member. Depending on the direction of the rotation, the rotatably supported clamping member advances along the side surface of the bone either in a downward direction for mounting the bone clamp or in an upward direction for dismounting the bone clamp.

  • Patent number: 11553970
Abstract: A method, a controller, and a surgical hybrid navigation system for transferring a registration of three dimensional image data of a surgical object from a first to a second surgical navigation system are described. A first tracker that is detectable by a first detector of the first surgical navigation system is arranged in a fixed spatial relationship with the surgical object and a second tracker that is detectable by a second detector of the second surgical navigation system is arranged in a fixed spatial relationship with the surgical object. The method includes registering the three dimensional image data of the surgical object in a first coordinate system of the first surgical navigation system and determining a first position and orientation of the first tracker in the first coordinate system and a second position and orientation of the second tracker in a second coordinate system of the second surgical navigation system.

  • Patent number: 4028689
Abstract: A calorimetric flow monitor comprising a measuring head adapted to be connectable to a pipe carrying a flow medium. The measuring head includes two thermistors, one of which is surrounded by a heating coil to be heated thereby. The unheated thermistor and the heatable thermistor together with its heating coil are mounted in a pair of pins protruding from the measuring head. The thermistors are connected in an electrical bridge circuit. A first differential amplifier for determining increases and decreases in the flow of the medium relative to a preset flow is connected to the bridge circuit. Visual indicating devices are optionally provided to indicate when the flow is above and below the preset flow. A second differential amplifier for monitoring the occurrence of breakages in conductors connected to the thermistors and the heating coil, is also connected to the bridge circuit.
