Abstract: Abutment for a dental implant including an apical base portion equipped with profiled sections, a rotationally symmetrical transition portion bordering coronally on the base portion, a section bordering coronally on the transition portion and equipped with a wave-shaped rim, and an occlusal portion bordering coronally on the transition portion, the occlusal portion not being configured circular symmetric, a shoulder of irregular width is formed between the upper rim of section and the lower rim of the occlusal portion, the variation in width of the shoulder increasing from a minimum width to a maximum width by about 30% to 150% with respect to the minimum width of the shoulder.

Abstract: Impression post for a dental implant, having a sleeve-shaped impression cap (4) with a coupling section (16) configured to be connected to the dental implant (20), and a substantially cylindrical recess (6) extending in the longitudinal direction of the impression cap (4) and an attachment element (8) engaging through the recess (6) for attaching the impression cap (4) on the dental implant (20). The impression cap (4) has an inner sleeve (10) and an outer sleeve (12) radially surrounding said inner sleeve on the outside, which outer sleeve is detachably connected to the inner sleeve (10), and the coupling section (16) is at least partly an element of the inner sleeve (10).

Abstract: The invention proposes an arrangement for handling an implant (1) to be inserted into bone, with a transfer cap (2) which can be fitted onto the implant (1) in a releasable manner, and with an adapter (3) which engages on the implant (1) with a form fit. The implant head (10) is provided with an internal or external polygon (17), an outer implant shoulder (11), and a shoulder edge (110) located underneath the implant shoulder (11). The transfer cap (2) has a contact surface (25) complementary to the implant shoulder (11), and an elastic lip (26) engaging over the shoulder edge (110). The adapter (3) has a polygon (30) which is intended to engage in the polygon (17) on the implant (1). A plug-type extension (33) of the adapter (3) is used for attachment of a screwing-in instrument. When the transfer cap (2) is fitted on the implant (1) and the adapter (3) is plugged in, the polygon (30) of the latter comes into engagement with the polygon (17) on the implant (1).
