Abstract: An equipment for the treatment of lymph blockages, hyperacidic musculature and the like, containing a switching circuit to generate a series of voltage impulses and two contact devices to apply these voltage impulses to a to-be-treated part of the body in order to achieve a mechanical vibration stimulation, is provided so that the switching circuit generates a series of high voltage impulses and contains a current limiting circuit, and that one of the contact devices has a high transfer resistance to human skin, while high filed intensities at higher mechanical loading capacity should be achieved.

Abstract: The present invention provides a process for cross-linking non-polar polymers in a high-frequency electric alternating field with the use of a peroxide as cross-linking agent, wherein the cross-linking agent used is a peroxide of the general formula: ##STR1## in which R.sup.1 is a hydrogen atom, an alkyl radical containing up to 4 carbon atoms or a phenyl radical optionally substituted by halogen atoms or alkyl radicals containing up to 4 carbon atoms;R.sup.2, R.sup.3, R.sup.4 and R.sup.5, which can be the same or different, are hydrogen atoms or, together with the carbon atoms to which they are attached, represent o-phenylene radicals;A is a straight-chained or branched alkylene radical containing up to 5 carbon atoms or a straight-chained or branched alkylene radical containing up to 5 carbon atoms or a phenylene radical and;R.sup.6 is a hydrogen atom or a radical of the general formula ##STR2## in which R.sup.1, R.sup.2, R.sup.3, R.sup.4 and R.sup.5 are identified as above.

Abstract: Polyolefines are crosslinked in the presence of a crosslinking agent having the formula ##STR1## wherein each R is selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, an alkyl group having from 1 to 6 C-atoms and an alkoxy group having 1 or 2 C-atoms, and R.sub.1, R.sub.2, R.sub.3 and R.sub.4 each is selected from the group consisting of hydrogen and an alkyl group having from 1 to 6 C-atoms, at least two of R.sub.1, R.sub.2, R.sub.3 and R.sub.4 being an alkyl group, and n is an integer from 1 to 5.

Abstract: A speed limiting device for lifts or the like comprising a cable wheel drivable by means of a speed limiter cable secured to the lift cabin, a cam disk fixably connected with the cable wheel and seated upon a common shaft or axle, and a support movable by the cam disk and the speed limiting device upon exceeding a predetermined lift travel speed, decelerating the speed limiter cable. There is provided a separate cable brake acting upon the limiter cable and an actuation mechanism which can be actuated with a tilting behavior upon activating the separate cable brake. The actuation mechanism comprises at least one mass body accelerated by the support proportional to the lift travel speed during rotation of the cam disk, the mass body upon exceeding a predetermined travel speed is movable relative to the support under the action of the inertia forces for releasing or triggering the actuation mechanism.

Abstract: The esters of pinane hydroperoxide with carboxylic acids are effective free radical initiators for the polymerizaton of olefinically unsaturated monomers, and are superior to the corresponding esters of tert-butyl peroxide by their shorter half-life at equal temperature.
