Abstract: 2-benzylfuryl compounds of the general formula I ##STR1## where R.sup.1, R.sup.2 and R.sup.3 are identical or different substituents and are each hydrogen, halogen, alkyl, haloalkyl, alkoxy, haloalkoxy, haloalkylthio, alkenyl or haloalkenyl, each of not more than 6 carbon atoms, n being 1, 2 or 3 where R.sup.3 is not hydrogen, and R.sup.4 and R.sup.5 are each hydrogen or alkyl of not more than 6 carbon atoms, R is --CHO or CHR.sup.6 OA, R.sup.6 is hydrogen, cyano, alkyl, alkenyl, haloalkenyl or alkynyl, each of not more than 6 carbon atoms, or carboxamide, and A is either hydrogen or a radical of an acid typical for pyrethroids, with the proviso that R.sup.2 is not hydrogen, chlorine, bromine, methyl or methoxy when R.sup.1 is hydrogen or methyl and R.sup.3 and A are each hydrogen, and furthermore with the proviso that R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 are not methyl when A is a radical of tetramethylcyclopropanecarboxylic acid, and finally with the proviso that R.sup.2 is not methyl, chlorine, bromine or methoxy and R.

Abstract: Quinoline derivatives of the formula ##STR1## where R.sup.1, R.sup.2, R.sup.3 and R.sup.4 are hydrogen, methyl, halogen or nitro, R.sup.5 is a thiophene, pyrrole, oxazole, thiazole, imidazole, isoxazole, isothiazole, pyrazole, thiadiazole, oxadiazole or triazole radical which is substituted or unsubstituted, or is a substituted furan radical, and microbicidal agents containing these compounds.

Abstract: Halovinylbenzyl esters of the formula I ##STR1## where R.sup.1 is ##STR2## R.sup.2 is H, CN, lower alkyl, lower alkenyl, lower alkynyl, lower haloalkyl or lower haloalkenyl, R.sup.3 is H, halogen or lower alkyl, R.sup.4 is H, lower alkyl, lower alkoxy or lower alkoxymethyl, R.sup.5 is lower alkyl, lower hal lk(en)yl or lower haloalkynyl, R.sup.6 and R.sup.7 are each lower alkyl or halogen, A is halogen, lower alkyl, lower alkoxy, lower haloalkyl, lower haloalkoxy, CN or NO.sub.2, m is 0 to 4, n is 1 to 3, B is lower alkyl, lower alkenyl, lower alkynyl or cycloalkyl, and X is H, halogen, lower haloalkyl, lower thioalkyl, lower alkoxy or lower alkyl, and halogen can be fluorine, chlorine or bromine and, in the case of R.sup.2, may furthermore be iodine, a process for their manufacture, and their use as pesticides.

Abstract: N-substituted 2-methylnaphthylamides of the general formula I ##STR1## where R is an unsubstituted or substituted furyl, isoxazolyl, oxazolyl, isothiazolyl, thiazolyl, 1,2,4-oxadiazol-3-yl, 1,2,4-thiadiazol-3-yl, 1,2,4-thiadiazol-5-yl, 1,2,5-thiadiazol-3-yl, 1,3,4-thiadiazol-2-yl or C.sub.1 -C.sub.5 -alkyl radical, or the group --CH.sub.2 --Y--R.sup.1, where Y is oxygen or sulfur and R.sup.1 is C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 -alkoxyethyl or C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 -alkoxyethoxyethyl, or R is C.sub.2 -C.sub.5 -alkenyl, C.sub.2 -C.sub.5 -alkynyl, C.sub.1 -C.sub.5 -alkoxy, C.sub.1 -C.sub.5 -alkoxycarbonyl or C.sub.3 -C.sub.7 -cycloalkyl, and fungicides containing these compounds.

Abstract: 7-Aminoazolo[1,5-a]pyrimidine of the formula ##STR1## where R.sup.1 is unsubstituted or substituted alkyl, halogen, alkoxy, cyano, or cycloalkyl, or is aryl, aryloxy, arylthio, arylalkyl, arylalkoxy or arylalkylthio, each of which may be substituted, or is indane, tetrahydronaphthalene or benzene, each of which may be substituted and is fused to the phenyl ring, R.sup.2 and R.sup.3 are each hydrogen, alkyl or aryl, n is 1 or 2, A is nitrogen or a CR.sup.4 group, where R.sup.4 has the meanings of R.sup.2 and may furthermore be halogen, cyano or alkoxycarbonyl, or together with R.sup.3 is alkylene which may have up to 2 double bonds, and fungicides containing these compounds.

Abstract: New 1,3,4-oxadiazolylmethylthiol phosphates and their use for combating pests. The 1,3,4-oxadiazolylmethylthiol phosphates have the formula ##STR1## where R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 are identical or different and each denotes alkyl of up to 6 carbon atoms and R.sup.3 denotes alkylthio of up to 6 carbon atoms, amino, or alkylamino or dialkylamino where alkyl is of up to 5 carbon atoms.

Abstract: New isoxazolylcarboxanilides of the formula ##STR1## where R.sup.1 is methyl, ethyl or chlorine, R.sup.2 is hydrogen, methyl, ethyl, fluorine, chlorine or bromine, R.sup.3 is methyl or ethyl, and R.sup.4 is hydrogen, methyl or ethyl.These compounds have a fungicidal action and are suitable for combating fungi.

Abstract: 6-Fluoropyridyl-(di)(thio)phosphoric acid esters, and their use for combating pests, especially from the classes of insects and Nemathelminthes.The 6-fluoropyridyl-(di)(thio)phosphoric acid esters have the formula ##STR1## where X is oxygen or sulfur, R.sup.1 is linear or branched alkyl of a maximum of 3 carbon atoms and R.sup.2 is linear or branched alkylthio of a maximum of 6 carbon atoms.

Abstract: Novel aminopropanol derivatives of 5-(2-hydroxystyryl)-isoxazole and their addition salts with acids, their preparation, pharmaceutical formulations containing these compounds, and their use in the treatment of hypertonia, coronary heart disease and cardiac arrhythmias.

Abstract: Alkylamino-propanol derivatives of 3-alkyl-5-(2-hydroxystyryl)-isoxazole, of the general formula ##STR1## where R is hydrogen, alkyl of 1 to 8 carbon atoms, which is unsubstituted or substituted by hydroxyl, alkoxy of 1 to 3 carbon atoms or cycloalkyl with 3 to 8 carbon atoms in the ring, alkenyl or alkynyl of 2 to 8 carbon atoms, or cycloalkyl with 3 to 8 carbon atoms in the ring, the cycloalkyl rings being unsubstituted or mono- or di-substituted by alkyl of 1 to 3 carbon atoms, and R' is alkyl of 1 to 4 carbon atoms, and their addition salts with physiologically acceptable acids, their preparation, and pharmaceutical formulations which contain these compounds and which can be used as valuable drugs in the treatment of hypertonia, coronary diseases of the heart and cardiac arrhythmias.

Abstract: Dithiophosphoric acid derivatives bearing, as ester component, an isoxazole-5-alkyl radical substituted in the 3-position by alkyl of 1 to 6 carbon atoms, a process for their manufacture by reaction of isoxazole-5-alkyl halides substituted in the 3-position by alkyl with salts of dithiophosphoric acid derivatives, and pesticides containing these isoxazole-5-alkyl dithiophosphoric acid derivatives as active ingredients. The active ingredients according to the invention may be used for combatting pests such as sucking and biting insects, especially Lepidoptera, Diptera and mites.

Abstract: .alpha.-Formylethane-phosphonic acid esters are manufactured by reacting vinylphosphonic acid esters with carbon monoxide and hydrogen in the presence of conventional rhodium-containing hydroformylation catalysts. The reaction is carried out at from 50.degree. to 180.degree. C. and at pressures from 20 to 1,500 bars. The products are intermediates for the synthesis of insecticidally active phosphoric acid ester derivatives.
