    Abstract: A process for continuous dyeing or printing, wherein a textile matrial is impregnated or printed with an emulsion of water and a halogenated aliphatic hydrocarbon containing at least one dyestuff, at least one of the phases of the emulsion containing a thickener of high molecular weight, and the dyestuff thus applied is fixed by steaming or heating.
