  • Patent number: 4352197
Abstract: In an exemplary embodiment, a chamber member in which an X-ray film cassette can be inserted can be disposed in a mounting device located under a patient. The cassette chamber member is arranged in the mounting device in such manner that it can be brought out from under the patient and disposed laterally of the patient for facilitating corresponding X-ray views without disturbing the patient.

  • Patent number: 4341279
Abstract: The disclosure relates to a mobile, motor-transportable x-ray apparatus comprising a carriage and wheels; in the illustrated embodiment, a rear wheel assembly is both driven and steerable. The steerable wheel, or the steerable wheels, are connected with a rearwardly extending manually operable steering device which is to be turned to the left or right to direct the apparatus to the left or right, respectively, as it is driven in the forward direction.

  • Patent number: 4335315
Abstract: A parallelogram arm adjustably supports the x-ray source and has one end in a rotary bearing at the carriage, the other end carrying an x-ray tube with a radiation diaphragm. The parallelogram arm can be turned about a vertical axis by means of the rotary bearing, and can be moved in a vertical direction, while the central ray of the x-ray tube retains its direction. In the parallelogram arm between the rotary bearing and the x-ray tube support-mounting, a guide mechanism is arranged which displaces the x-ray tube, pursuant to rotating the parallelogram arm about the vertical axis, such that the sides of the field collimated by means of the radiation diaphragm are parallel-displaced.

  • Patent number: 4326131
Abstract: The disclosure relates to a mobile x-ray apparatus comprising a support whose one end is mounted onto a carriage, whose other end bears an x-ray tube, and which is so constructed that the x-ray tube is freely adjustable in space. The carriage manifests, on its upper side, a stage for accommodating the x-ray tube in a parking position well below eye level of the operator.
