  • Patent number: 4727220
Abstract: An apparatus for covering electrical equipment which is connected to busbars of a bus system and has a maximum structural height, and wherein the upper sides of the busbars are equidistantly spaced from the clamping faces of holders for receiving and firmly retaining the busbars. A universally applicable cover which is not attached to the individual pieces of electrical equipment, but is adapted to be affixed to the busbars, is provided in that the cover is in the form of a cap having a rectangular cross section and comprising a cover plate and side walls. One pair of side walls extends parallel to the busbars and has an internal height with respect to the cover plate which corresponds to at least the sum of the fastening distance and the structural height.

  • Patent number: 4463165
Abstract: Hydrophobic textile materials exhibit reduced tendency to static charge buildup, significantly improved absorbency and reduced soiling tendency when treated with a water-dispersible polyester having structural units of the formula ##STR1## wherein A is, on statistical average, 80 to 100 mol percent of p-phenylene and 0 to 20 mol percent of divalent moieties of the formula ##STR2## and wherein G is, on statistical average, 30 to 90 mol percent of linear or branched divalent alkane moieties having 3 to 6 carbon atoms which may be interrupted by 1 or 2 oxygen atoms, 10 to 30 mol percent of divalent polyether moieties having an average molecular weight of 1,000 to 3,000, and up to 50 mol percent of ethylene moieties, and R is a straight-chain or branched alkyl or alkenyl having 6 to 8 carbon atoms.

  • Patent number: 4457481
Abstract: A holder for light tracks comprising an elongate generally squared carrier member having a plurality of channel-shaped recesses in its upper surface for receiving light tracks, and means for securing the light tracks installed in the channels. To mount light tracks of different widths and thicknesses in a holder according to the invention, plug-in members are inserted and fixedly retained in the channels in the carrier member of the holder by means of a common cover member.
