Patent number: 6792761Abstract: A fuel gas processed and preheated in a processing unit (6) is burned in a gas turbine unit or in a boiler plant. A continuously operating detector (9) for determining the condensate content in the processed fuel gas is arranged in a line (5) connecting the processing unit (6) with the burner immediately before the burner. This detector (9) is connected to an alarm device (10) and to a shut off device (11).Type: GrantFiled: November 14, 2000Date of Patent: September 21, 2004Assignee: Man Turbomaschinen AG GHH BorsigInventors: Emil Aschenbruck, Hans Weibel, Markus Beukenberg

Patent number: 6585179Abstract: A chopper for chopping up food has an upper portion and a push rod, displaceable therein, with an actuation head and a blade. A lower portion is connected to the upper portion, and a chopped material cup serves to receive the chopped material. Inserted in the upper portion and on the top surface of the actuation head are parts made of a material which is softer than the material of the upper portion or respectively of the actuation head. Thanks to the soft parts inserted in the upper portion, the chopper can be securely held by hand. The soft part inserted on the actuation head damps the blows exerted by hand for chopping.Type: GrantFiled: February 15, 2002Date of Patent: July 1, 2003Assignee: Zyliss Haushaltwaren AGInventors: Hans Weibel, René Ackermann

Patent number: 6164574Abstract: A mill for grinding material such as salt grains or pepper corns whose coarseness can be adjusted and whose grinding gear can be disassembled for cleaning. The mill has a middle part which serves as a reservoir for the material to be ground and an upper part which is attachable to the middle part by means of an attachment and adjustment element. In addition, the mill has a lower part which is designed to unscrew from the middle part for the purpose of cleaning the grinding gear. The grinding gear includes both an upper grinding wheel which is disposed underneath on the middle part and a lower grinding wheel which is screwed together with the attachment and adjustment element through a pivot pin. The pivot pin is connected in a nonrotatable way to the upper part. The grinding gear is actuated by turning the upper part. Using the attachment and adjustment element, the distance between the two grinding wheels and thus the degree of coarseness of grinding can be adjusted.Type: GrantFiled: September 24, 1999Date of Patent: December 26, 2000Assignee: Zyliss Haushaltwaren AGInventor: Hans Weibel

Patent number: 6052906Abstract: The nutcracker has two handles which can be pivoted toward each other about a pin. The one handle is connected to a basket for receiving a nut. The other handle is designed as a pressing handle, its end region being constructed as the pressing part. An insert part can be inserted into this end region for opening small nuts. The basket is provided with an aperture through which the end region of the pressing handle can run directly into the basket. A good squeezing result (opening of the nut) can be achieved. The rear basket wall is preferably closed off in order to prevent the nut from falling out when being placed in. The spacing between the pressing part and the basket wall is selected in such a way that a crushing of the nut is not possible.Type: GrantFiled: January 25, 1999Date of Patent: April 25, 2000Assignee: Zyliss Haushaltwaren AGInventor: Hans Weibel

Patent number: 5806299Abstract: A process and a device for quickly switching over from the premixing operation to the diffusion operation in combustion chambers of a gas turbine upon the extinction of the premixing flame or upon the occurrence of a disturbance that may lead to the extinction of the premixing flame. A pilot gas line, into which a pilot gas control valve is inserted, branches off from the fuel gas supply line before the fuel gas valve. The fuel gas supply line branches into fuel supply lines for both combustion chambers after the fuel gas control valve with displacement measurement. The fuel supply to the diffusion gas line and to the premixing gas line is controlled by installing a quick switch-over valve each with servo valves in the branching fuel supply lines. The combustion chambers are monitored in the area of the flame tube by pressure-measuring devices and by an optical flame-monitoring device.Type: GrantFiled: February 14, 1997Date of Patent: September 15, 1998Assignee: MAN Gutehoffnungshutte AktiengesellschaftInventors: Kurt Bauermeister, Michael Brodmann, Peter Kuper, Jurgen Moroni, Hans Weibel

Patent number: 4722508Abstract: In a valve on a processing plant in the chemical apparatus field, which has a valve housing, a feed flange and a discharge shaft, together with a valve seat arranged in the vicinity of the feed flange and an associated valve cone, at least the contacting parts of the valve seat and valve cone are made from metal. The inner wall of the valve seat formed as a surface of revolution is provided in the flow direction with two adjacent areas having different diameters and which are separated from one another by an edge. When the valve is closed, only the valve seat edge engages on the circumferential surface of the valve cone. In the first area facing the feed flange, the valve seat wall preferably has a substantially constant radius which continuously increases in the flow direction in the following second area, resulting in particularly reliable closing behavior. This can be further aided by an axially acting spring element.Type: GrantFiled: October 21, 1985Date of Patent: February 2, 1988Assignee: Rosenmund AGInventors: Hans Weibel, Martin Steiner, Max Grieder

Patent number: 4592835Abstract: There is disclosed a nutsch filter having blades fitted to a central, vertically positioned hollow shaft by a hollow arm, the blades having a plough-like cutting edge and a spatula-like bottom surface acting in the opposite movement direction. A discharge pipe, arranged concentrically to the hollow shaft, is axially displaceable. The discharge pipe is moved upwards against a cover for sealing the filter casing. The filtration or resuspension or drying of the filter cake takes place in this position. In order to discharge the compressed filter cake, the upper edge of the discharge pipe is set by the blades to the level of the paring or skimming process. Paring of the filter cake and conveying of the pared mass into the central discharge pipe opening takes place in a single operation by means of the blades. On drying, hot air or a hot fluid is passed through the cavities of the arm as well as the parts connected thereto.Type: GrantFiled: October 10, 1984Date of Patent: June 3, 1986Assignee: Rosenmund AGInventors: Max Grieder, Albert D.
