  • Patent number: 6052504
Abstract: The invention is concerned with a hood sleeve which is formed from a sealing body and a hood body these two parts being held together with the aid of a mechanical retaining device, initially without a sealing effect. The sealing-off between the hood body and the sealing body is carried out with the aid of a seal system which is activated by a functional element, for example in the form of an eccentric.

  • Patent number: 5638482
Abstract: An intercept mechanism for clamping on a central element includes a clamp element, a sleeve and a retainer element. The clamp element, at one end, has a mounting end connected by an adapter portion to a clamping end which has been bent in a U-shape to receive the end of the central element and is held on the central element by the sleeve. The mounting end can be detachably connected to the retainer element and the retainer element and mounting end can then be fixed to the cable with the assistance of a hose clamp.

  • Patent number: 5608189
Abstract: A screwable cable seal introduction device for employment at sleeves or housings having an introduction sheath onto which a union nut can be screwed. A press sleeve is located in the inside of the introduction sheath, an annular seal composed of sealing material and laterally arranged support rings being deformed with the press sleeve until the required adhesion of the sealing material at the sealing surfaces to be contacted is accomplished. An automatic pressure compensation subsequently occurs, so that no permanent pressure is exerted onto the introduced cable.

  • Patent number: 5314155
Abstract: The invention provides the suspension device for suspending a cable sleeve or fitting on a support cable. The suspension device includes a strip-shaped securing part which has one end fashioned as a hook and the other end fashioned as a mounting lug for securing to end members of the cable sleeve. Preferably, the securing part is provided with an arrangement to prevent accidental disengagement of the hook from the support cable.

  • Patent number: 4952437
Abstract: A heat-shrinkable sleeve consisting of at least one heat-shrinkable component and a mechanical reinforcing component secured thereto, characterized by the reinforcing component being permanently secured to the heat-shrinkable component after completion of the heat-shrinking process. The mechanical reinforcing component, preferably, consists of a carrier foil on which mechanical reinforcing elements are arranged and the reinforcing elements are preferably arranged to extend in two directions so that tearing of the sleeve is extremely limited.

  • Patent number: 4714280
Abstract: The invention involves a heat-shrinkable connection comprising a longitudinal channel and a cooperating element thickened at its end. The channel is composed of lateral leg parts which are dimensionally stable under the application of heat, and of at least one shrink region adaptable to the cooperating element in positively locking fashion under the application of heat. The shrink region in the connecting region thereby facilitates the joining of the connecting elements along the formed parts to be connected or along the longitudinal edges of an envelope.
