  • Patent number: 11125250
Abstract: A fan device including an electric motor assembly (24, 26) designed to drive at least one blade wheel (34, 36) in a flow channel (18) provided axial to the blade wheel, an electronic assembly (38, 40), which forms commutator and/or ballast electronics for the electric motor assembly, is arranged in series with the electric motor assembly, and is produced on a circuit carrier, and a carrier unit (14) formed axially on or in the flow channel for retaining the electric motor assembly, wherein the carrier unit, which forms an inner circumference of the flow channel at least in sections, is made from a thermally conductive material, wherein the carrier unit has, on an outer segment (16) radially opposite to the flow channel, a mounting and cooling surface for interacting with the circuit carrier and/or power electronics components provided thereon in a heat-dissipating manner.

  • Patent number: 10550847
Abstract: A self-cooling diagonal ventilating fan (30; 130) has a fan housing (36) and a fan wheel (80), rotatable around a rotation axis (168), that has, associated with it, an electronically commutated motor (73) which has an internal stator (64) and an external rotor (68, 152). Cooling air, after it emerges from the electric motor (73), is drawn through at least one opening (90) formed in the fan wheel (80) to the outer side of the fan wheel (80), in order, during operation, to maintain a constant cooling air stream (158) in a consistent flow direction through the internal stator (64) of the electric motor (73), regardless of possible backpressure.

  • Patent number: 9139118
Abstract: A ventilation apparatus (500) serves to cool the seat cushion (120) of a seat (100), in particular of a vehicle seat. This seat cushion (120) has a seating surface (122), a rear face (127) and an underside (121). The underside (121) of the seat cushion (120) and the seat frame (110) form a cavity (190). The ventilation apparatus (500) has a radial fan (515) for arrangement in said cavity (190), which radial fan (515) has an inlet (512) and an outlet (518). An air distribution arrangement (530) connects to the output of a U-shaped air deflection device (520) that extends from the air outlet (518) of the radial fan (515) to an inlet (532) of the air distribution arrangement (530) and includes a plurality of air deflection conduits (525).
