  • Patent number: 11952253
Abstract: A method for operating a filling system with first and second filling points is disclosed. The first filling point has a first unit for controlling and monitoring the filling of the first filling point. The second filling point has a second unit for controlling and monitoring the filling of the second filling point. The first and second units are connected via a communication channel. In an operating state, the first filling point switches to diagnostic mode. The first unit reports the diagnostic start to the second unit. The first unit outputs substitute flow rate or level values. The second unit transmits a deviation message to the first unit in the event of a deviation of the current flow or level value from an expected value. After receipt of the deviation message, the first unit interrupts diagnostic mode and switches to normal operation or outputs corrected substitute flow or level values.

  • Publication number: 20230249855
Abstract: A method for filling a target volume into a container by means of a measuring arrangement is described and illustrated. The measuring arrangement includes at least one flowmeter for measuring the flow of a medium flowing into the container, at least one actuator and at least one control unit. The flowmeter includes a computing unit. The filling process can be started and ended by actuating the actuator. The control unit is connected to the actuator and the flowmeter via a communication system. The control unit is set up in such a way that, during operation, it sends a control command to the actuator to end the filling process when a defined limit value of the fill volume, which correlates with the target volume, is reached.

  • Publication number: 20230099328
Abstract: A method for operating a filling system includes: determining a current valve curve of a first filling valve and a current valve curve of a second filling valve; comparing the current valve curve of the first filling valve with a reference valve curve of the first filling valve and comparing the current valve curve of the second filling valve with a reference valve curve of the second filling valve; adjusting a number of filling points at which the current valve curve differs from the associated reference valve curve; detecting and signaling a filling point error in the event of a deviation of the valve curve from the reference valve curve at one filling point; and detecting and signaling a process error in the case of deviation of the valve curve from the reference valve curve at both filling points.

  • Publication number: 20220136877
Abstract: A flowmeter includes a control and evaluation unit, a sensor unit for capturing a primary variable, and a memory for storing data sets. The control and evaluation unit has a computing unit for determining the flow rate and/or for operating the sensor unit. The sensor unit is connected to the computing unit. During operation, the computing unit determines the flow rate from the primary variable, and determines the flow rate based on a data set and/or controls the sensor unit based on a data set. The data set includes a set of calibration values and/or a parameter for the operation of the sensor unit, and/or a parameter for determining the flow rate. The data set is assigned to a value of a state variable. The state variable is a medium parameter and/or a process parameter. The computing unit exchanges the data set depending on a change in the state variable.

  • Patent number: 5715366
Abstract: In general terms the present invention is a method for the coded transmission of voice signals. A voice signal is digitized and supplied to an encoder and the estimated input signal is subtracted from the digitized voice signal. The remaining remainder signal is normed in that it is divided by its estimated intensity. The norm signal which has arisen as a result thereof is supplied to a quantizer/coder. The output signal thereof is transmitted via a channel and is supplied to a decoder and is also subsequently supplied to an inverse quantizer whose output signal is multiplied by the estimated intensity. The signal that proceeded from the multiplication of the estimated intensity by the output signal of the inverse quantizer is added to the estimated signal, as a result whereof the control signal for a predictor is formed which generates the estimated signal and the decoding ensues analogously to the coding.
