  • Patent number: 11167880
Abstract: A pouring element for a package having a base body, a polyhedrally formed flange, the flange inner surfaces of which converge in face abutments, for joining to a package sleeve and at least one holding element projecting on the inside of the flange for operatively connecting to a mandrel of a packaging machine, as well as a pouring element with polyhedrally formed gable surfaces, which are correspondingly joined to the polyhedrally formed flange. Provision is made for the holding element to be formed as a rounding in the area of the face abutments on the inside of the flange, in order to prevent the pouring element from becoming damaged during the whole joining process with the package sleeve when putting the pouring element onto, holding it on and removing it from the mandrel and additionally in order to guarantee a secure and precise hold.

  • Patent number: 11001409
Abstract: A pouring element for a package having a base body, a polyhedrally formed flange which is designed for joining to a package sleeve and whose joining faces converge in face abutments, as well as a pouring element for a package, in which the package sleeve is correspondingly joined to the pouring element. Provision is made for receiving areas to be formed in the area of the face abutments for the fold line of the package sleeve ears, in order to prevent the package from becoming damaged during the joining process between the pouring element and the package sleeve and during the folding of the package sleeve ears and hence keep it leak-tight.

  • Patent number: 9945002
Abstract: A metallurgical melting vessel has a vertical shaft, surrounded by a housing wall, which receives steel scrap. At least one closure element, having laterally spaced-apart fingers extending parallel to one another, is mounted such that it can move between a closed position and an open position. In the closed position, the fingers protrude at least partially into the shaft for the purpose of holding back steel scrap. In the open position, the fingers free the shaft at least to such an extent that the steel scrap can fall from the shaft into the melting vessel. The at least one closure element is mounted so as to be movable from the side of the shaft into the shaft and laterally thereoutof.

  • Patent number: 9738427
Abstract: A pack having an opening region provided in the top of the pack which forms a pouring opening after it is cut through by an applied pouring element, the pouring element including a base body, a cutting element arranged movably therein, and a screw cap, the screw cap being used for first opening of the pack by actuating the cutting element and for reclosure, and the opening region having a weakened line. The weakened line has a round first section and a second section. The first time the composite pack is opened by moving the cutting element, the weakened line is cut in the first section and tears in the second section.

  • Patent number: 9482471
Abstract: A melt metallurgical installation has a melting furnace for melting scrap metal and a charging region for the melting furnace which is located above the melting furnace. The installation further has a charging element, which has been filled with scrap metal intended for the melting furnace and can be moved in a movement direction into the charging region where it can be emptied and then moved again, in the empty state, against the movement direction out of the charging region. The charging region is enclosed by a hood such that the charging region, including the charging element which has been placed in the charging region, is closed at the top and on the sides. The hood has at least one upper extraction opening through which the waste gases and dust developing in the hood can be extracted out of the hood.

  • Patent number: 7458486
Abstract: The self-opener closure consists of a pour-out spout (2) which may be sealingly assembled onto a composite packaging or onto a container spout or bottle spout to be closed with film material, of an associated rotary cap (1) as well as a self-opener sleeve (3) arranged within the pour-out spout (2) which may be set into rotation by the rotary cap (1). Force transmission means and guide means are formed on these three elements. These cooperate with one another such that on rotating the rotary cap (1) in the opening direction for the first time the self-opener sleeve (3) firstly in the pour-out spout (2) may be pushed vertically downwards and subsequently may be rotated by approximately 360° in the horizontal. Because the self-opener sleeve (3) at its lower edge and projecting from this comprises a single, combined piercing and cutting member (9) the film or the composite packaging is first reliably pierced and afterwards a disk is cut cleanly out of it and pivoted downwards.
