Abstract: The invention relates to a ligature device for body parts, in particular a tourniquet, comprising a closure housing (2) in which a feed-through shaft (230) is formed which extends in the longitudinal direction and is delimited at the bottom by a base wall (27), laterally by two lateral walls (26, 26?) and at the top by a top wall (24), and comprising a ligature strap (3) which, by means of a clipping buckle (5) fastened to the one rear end thereof, is clipped or can be clipped detachably to a rear portion of the closure housing (2) and, with the other end thereof, is guided or can be guided from the rear side through the feed-through shaft (230) in order to form a loop (31) of variable size and can be firmly clamped according to the size of a received body part by means of a clamping means, in particular by means of a rocker (4) that is pivotally mounted in a pivot bearing in the closure housing (2).

Abstract: A venous tourniquet having a constricting strap which can be placed around a body part, which strap is elastic in the direction of circumference or is provided with at least one elastic portion, and having a closing device by which the constricting strap can be locked into a tightening loop when the strap is positioned around a body part in the tightened state. One embodiment is advantageous if both structure and use is obtained by designing the closing device as a hook-and-loop fastener having two lockingly engaging closing parts.

A compact design with reliable function is achieved by the switching member being coupled to the drive motor of the vacuum-generating unit via a transmission for the rotary drive.

Abstract: A milk suction device consisting of a funnel and a piston pump connected thereto which can be operated easily as a hand-operated pump or as a motor driven pump. A hollow piston rod is constructed as an outwardly guided aeration duct and has a return valve as its opening located in the suction space of a cylinder of the pump, which return valve is closed during the suction stroke of the piston pump and is constructed as an aeration valve. A ventilation valve is arranged in a front face of the pump cylinder opposite the piston rod and in order to connect a motor driven pump, it is only necessary to slide its tube onto the free end of the piston rod.

Abstract: A device for applying tension around an object such as a person's arm and leg comprises a tensioning member which has a first end portion which is connected to a rear end of a hollow basic member housing and includes a portion adapted to form an object encircling loop for engagement, for example around a person's arm and has a second opposite free end portion. The hollow basic member has a rear end wall with an entrance opening and a front end wall with an exit opening to facilitate passage of the free end portion of the tensioning member into the entrance opening through the hollow member and out the exit opening. The interior of the basic member includes a backup portion which has a backup surface over which the free end portion of the tensioning member is passed.
